Your POV

I've been a mess. All the shows have been cancelled until further notice. We didn't want another injury. I've visited Jon everyday, and I've seen all the cast at least once or twice. He's been switching between consciousness and sleep. I'm afraid he's not going to wake up one day, but his signs show he's doing better.

I've been hanging around with the ensemble girls a lot, Thayne too. They've been helping a lot, but I'm still not back to my complete self. I'm just so grateful for such an amazing group of friends. They mean the world to me.

Currently, I was sitting in Jon and I's apartment, watching TV. I've been avoiding the news at all costs. I know there's been stories on the event. No one knows though what I've been planning. I'm gonna go to (Ex/N)'s apartment. I'll send him to the police myself. There are cameras in the dressing rooms. I knew what to do.

I threw on my converse and locked my door behind me. It was shortly before lunch so I knew no one would be at Richard Rodgers. I walked hurriedly down the sidewalk. Luckily Jon and I didn't live far from the theatre.

I arrived in almost a record time, making sure no one was watching as I stepped into the theatre. My footsteps echoed down the dark, empty hall as I hurried to the security room. I opened the door, stepping inside.

There were a bunch of monitors, each one showing different people's dressing rooms. I scanned all the monitors until I found the camera in Oak and Anthony's room. (Ex/N) was stupid enough to not break the camera.

I rolled the footage back to yesterday. Soon enough, I saw footage of (Ex/N) entering the dressing room, pulling a bullet out of his pocket. I watched as he fiddled with the gun for a few minutes, until the bullet finally went in.

I pulled out my phone and rewinded the footage, recording the footage on my camera. To make matters worse for (Ex/N), his face was even seen on camera. I grinned as I tucked my phone away, the thought of putting (Ex/N) where he belonged exciting me.

I shut the security door behind me, exiting the Richard Rodgers without a passing glance. I ran to my apartment, and I scribbled a quick note after remembering Carleigh and Betsy were supposed to come by soon.

'Carleigh and Betsy,

I know you were supposed to come by, but I had to run a few... errands. I should be back in a couple hours. Don't wait up on me! You'll see me soon!

- (N/N)
PS: Door is locked. You have the spare key to this apartment though so make yourself at home if you'd like!'

I was set to go. I locked the door behind me and sprinted down the stairs. Hopefully they didn't pick up on what I was doing.

I made it to (Ex/N)'s in record time. As I climbed the stairs to his room, I couldn't help but remember what used to happen here...

I shuddered as I approached the door. I was stronger now. I know Jon wouldn't want me doing this but this was for him. I made a quick call on my phone, and then I knocked on (Ex/N)'s door. The door opened and I saw (Ex/N) grin crazily at me. "Welcome back, babe!"

I shoved him into his apartment, growling. "I'm not your babe. Your game is over, (Ex/N)."

He smirked. "My dear, it's only just begun." He tried to grab me but I grabbed his arm first, twisting it. He hissed and I shoved him again.

"It may have only started, but that doesn't mean it's not finished."

There were the sounds of footsteps. "This is the police! Hands up!"

I backed away from a shocked (Ex/N). The police passed in front of me, grabbing him. A police officer approached me. "Thank you for doing this, ma'm. It was very brave of you."

I smiled. "It was nothing, sir."

The police officer smiled at me and I followed the out of the apartment complex, where I spotted Carleigh and Besty. They rushed over, tightly hugging me. I laughed, hugging them. We broke the hug.

"That was a risky move, (Y/N)!" Carleigh scolded.

I grinned. "But it worked." The girls couldn't help but laugh.

"I'd love to go home but I have to go to the police station for questioning. Wanna come with me?"

They nodded and we made our way to the police station.

~ when they get back to the apartment ~

We had gotten dinner after the questioning, seeing as it was getting late. Betsy and Carleigh kept exchanging silly glances as we approached my door. I raised an eyebrow at them. "You two okay?"

Betsy giggled. "Yeah, we're good."

I unlocked my door and stepped inside. Nothing unordinary in here yet... I looked at the time. It was a little past eight. Betsy looked at me. "We're gonna get going. It's a two show day tomorrow and I'm sure you wanna sleep."

I nodded. "You know it." We all laughed and they hugged me goodbye.

I made my way to the bedroom when I saw a faint light on from underneath the door. I mentally groaned. Tell me they didn't go through my stuff...

I opened the door to something a lot different than that. Jon was sleeping peacefully on the bed, white gauze poking out from beneath his shirt. I gasped quietly, but apparently that was enough to wake him up. He sat up slowly. "(N/N)?"

I nodded quickly. This was the first time I'd seen him awake in a couple days. "Yeah... yeah I'm here."

It took me everything to not rush over to him. I walked over to him, sitting neat the end of the bed. I was about to say something when he pulled me forward, pulling me into a tight hug.

It took a moment to process everything little thing that just happened, but I wrapped my arms around him and felt myself crying all over again. "I was afraid... I was afraid you were going to die, Jon..." I whispered.

Jon pulled back and wiped the tears from my face. "I wouldn't ever do that to you."

I couldn't help but smile and bury my head in his chest. I heard him laugh a bit and wrap his arms around me again, resting his head on the top of mine.

We sat like that for awhile, enjoying each other's company for the first time in a week. It was just me and him, him and I, and I wouldn't let anything happen again.
