Your POV

Beep! Beep!

Beep! Be-- SMACK!

I mumbled to myself, hitting my alarm clock. I sat up, trying to rub the sleep from my eyes, wondering why my alarm was set so early. Then I remembered it was the first day of high school!

I got out of bed, quickly getting dressed into (outfit below) (I like disney fiTe mE iF yOu daRe). Disney had always been something I liked so I thought it was the best outfit.

I brushed through my messy (H/C) hair and made my way downstairs, where it was silent. My parents were out on a business trip so it was just me.

I ate a quick breakfast of (F/Cereal). After cleaning my dishes I checked up on my appearance one last time before slipping on my black converse and grabbing my (F/Color) bag, sliding out the door.

I was at the school early, and so were a decent amount of other students. Four girls caught my eye. The oldest was in pink sun dress, I assumed she was a junior. The next girl was in a short, ruby red dress. My guess was she was a junior as well. The third one was in a light blue dress, she looked like a sophomore. Finally, the youngest girl was in a sunny yellow jumper, she looked like a freshman just like me!

The girl in pink caught my eye the most, and she saw me looking at her. She smiled and waved at me, causing me to blush. I waved back, smiling sheepishly before looking around.

There were four loud boys, all rambling by the door. I noticed they all had dark hair and all looked older than me.

Three more boys were near the dark-haired ones, talking among themselves. They also looked older than me.

There was one last boy. He had messy dark brown hair, and he had on a navy blue t-shirt and black skinny jeans. I didn't know what to make of him, but he sure looked like a junior. A quite... intimidating one at that. He was isolated from everyone else.

I decided I'd try and go talk to the four girls, they seemed the most approachable. Unfortunately, life had other plans for me. The boy in the navy blue started making his way over. I had absolutely no idea what to do, so I just stood there awkwardly (girl same) until he was in front of me. Some form of grin was on his face.

"Haven't seen you here before. Freshman?" he asked, his dark eyes scanning over me.

I nodded slowly. "Yeah... and..?"

The boy chuckled. "Middle school is back that way, girly," he spoke, motioning to my Mickey Mouse tank top and Minnie necklace.

"Disney isn't just for kids," I spoke.

"Yeah yeah, sure. And I'm one to play nice."

"Well Disney isn't--!"

"Aww, whatcha gonna do? Go home crying to mom and dad all because someone told you to grow up?"

"Just stop!"

"'Just stop!'" he mimicked in a mock high-pitched voice.

"Stop mocking me!" I exclaimed.

"Why should I listen to you? You're just; one, a small freshman, and two, a girl?"

That comment upset me. "Are you implying that--"

"Women are lesser then men? Not really. However, it's not like you can do much anyways."

"Well you know what? Someone once said, 'we hold these truths to be self-evident--'"

"'--that all men are created equal.' Personally, I think they should've thrown in women too," a strong female voice cut in.

The boy turned to see the girl I spotted in pink earlier. "Angelica..." he growled.

"Stop bothering her, Charles," she spat back.

The boy... now apparently Charles, rolled his eyes. "Fine. You win today. But I'll get her one day this year. Count on it!" He stalked away.

Angelica smiled kindly at me, approaching me. "I'm sorry. Charles is one of the d*cks in this high school."

I giggled. "It's fine. Thank you... Angelica?"

She nodded. "Yep! But you can call me Angie. What's your name?"

"(Y/N)," I answered.

"Pretty name! Would you like to meet some girls?"

I nodded, blushing slightly at her compliment. "Sure!"

She took my hand and I tried not to blush more as she lead me to the three girls. "Hey! I have someone new for you girls to meet!"

They turned, looking at me curiously. I waved shyly, Angie letting go of my hand.

"(Y/N), this is Eliza and Peggy, my two sisters," she said, pointing to the girls in blue and yellow. "Peggy, she's a freshman just like you!"

Peggy grinned. "Awesome! We'll be great friends, I can tell!"

I smiled. "Yeah!"

Angie smiled at us, as did Eliza. "And this is Maria," Angie said, the girl in red smiling brightly at me.

"And you girls, this is (Y/N)!"

"You can just call me (N/N) for short if you'd like," I added.

The girls quickly accepted me into their conversation, and my morning before school quickly became fun, the previous encounter with Charles being forgotten.

I could already tell we'd all be best friends.
