KELLY's POV

I was so stressed out the whole day not because of my studies but because of the things that I've been thinking about. I was irritable as well that I wasn't even talking that much. Even my friends were asking me what my problem was but I just told them that everything's fine.

When my last subject was finally finished, I was ready to go home when I heard a voice.

"Hey, Kelly. I am going to visit Jake to the prison today. Do you want to come with me?" I turned around and saw Dave. He was Jake's best friend. I heaved a sigh. I already had enough things to worry about and the last thing I wanted was to go there and see my cousin.

I visited him again last week without informing my parents nor my grandparents about it because I knew that they wouldn't like it. They already warned me not to go there anymore.

When I saw Jake, I couldn't help but to feel sorry for him but the anger was there too...

"Why are you here, Kelly? Are you here to rub on my face how pathetic I am?" he asked bitterly. I heaved a sigh. He looked nothing like the Jake that I used to know. He looked like a desperate guy who couldn't accept his defeat.

"No, I'm not. I am here because I want to see you. You're my cousin and a friend and I can't just let you stay here without visiting you" he snorted.

"C'mon, Kelly. You're the reason why I am here right now. If you haven't helped that b*stard Enrique on finding me then I wouldn't be here by now. Blake and I would've have been escaped. I lost my chance to have her because of you and the worst part is, I got imprisoned here!" I could see the anger in his eyes and I couldn't help but to feel bad for him.

His obsession was really overtaking his rationale thinking and it was not healthy anymore. The doctor was right.

Jake's father decided to let a psychiatrist see Jake and he was diagnosed with a psychotic disorder. I couldn't believe it at first. Now, his father was arranging the necessary papers to transfer Jake to a mental facility instead of staying here at the prison.

"I just did the right thing, Jake" he tsked as he glared at me.

"But I am your cousin! You should've helped me instead of that guy!" he was almost shouting in anger. His face was already red.

"Jake, please, relax. I am here to talk to you, not to fight with you" I said calmly. I heaved a sigh.

"Anyway, I am here to tell you that Blake isn't doing well right now because of your doing. She lost one of her babies because of you. You shouldn't have done that because if you really loved her, you would never hurt her like that" he clenched his teeth.

"If she only agreed to what I wanted, she didn't lose her baby for sure. She's so stubborn---"

"Are you crazy?! She lost her baby because of you! It's your fault!" he was about to retaliate when I continued.

"I won't be able to come visit you anymore, Jake" his eyebrows creased.

"What do you mean by that? Are you going to totally turn your back on me?" I shook my head.
