KELLY's POV

I wiped my sweat as I stared at the dining table. At last, I've finally finished preparing everything. I've been cooking since this afternoon and it's already almost 5:30 pm. I couldn't control the excitement that rose within me. At last, I could finally see my Stephen. Stephen Tyler. A wide smile stretched my lips upon remembering his handsome face.

"Hey. You look tired already. Why don't you rest? Your visitor will be here in two hours but you still look like a mess. Go and prep yourself up. Make sure you make yourself more beautiful than you already are. I'll take care of everything here" I chuckled because of what my mother said.

She'd been living with me almost four months now because she wanted to take care of me especially this past three months. Well, I was against for her to come live with me here because I knew that she has a lot of things to take care of in Colorado but she and my father insisted.

I'm so thankful because I am blessed with understanding and loving parents. Before I could ask anything from them, they're already giving it to me.

I drew myself to her and then hugged her from her side.

"Thank you, mom, for being always there for me" I said gratefully. She kissed my forehead.

"You don't have to thank me, sweetie. I am your mother. Whenever you need me, you know that I'll always be here for you. Me and your daddy will always be here" I smiled and then tightened my arms around her.

"You and daddy are the best. Thank you for being the best parents ever" she chuckled.

"Of course. You're our only child. We love you so much. But now, our love is not solely for you anymore" I pouted but I felt happy inside.

"Well, I'm aware of that but it's okay. Ever since everyone saw her for the first time, I already knew that everyone would love her as much as you did to me. Look at grandpa and granny. They come here everyday just to see her" I answered full of amusement.

"She's just so precious, sweetie. Your daddy didn't even want to go home yet because he wanted to be with her for a little bit longer. If it wasn't only because of a problem that he needed to fix right away at the ranch, he would surely be here". My father went home yesterday. My mom didn't go with him because she wanted to help me into preparing for today.

It was scheduled for them to officially meet my boyfriend today and they were excited but something came up that's why my dad didn't have a choice but to go home.

"C'mon, sweetheart. Go upstairs and prepare yourself. You're already sweaty" I laughed because she acted like I smelt bad. I smelled myself.

"Well, I still smell good, mom" she rolled her eyes while chuckling. I took off the apron that I was wearing.

"I think you should freshen up as well, mom. I already finished everything here anyway"

"I'll do that later. I'll just make sure that everything is into place before I go upstairs" I nodded my head and then went upstairs to my room.

I was about to open the door when someone opened it from the inside. It was my granny followed by my grandpa.

"She's already asleep so we'll go downstairs now" my granny whispered to me. I looked passed them. My heart swelled with love upon seeing my little bundle of joy peacefully sleeping. She's just so cute. Until now, I still couldn't believe how my life changed when she came into my life.
