KELLY's POV

After that day, Stephen kept on coming after my classes. He never asked me to go out somewhere with him though. We're just talking under big tree outside the gate while I wait for my driver. Even though those moments were brief, I found myself enjoying his company.

One day, I was eating at the cafeteria with my classmates when I saw Stephen talking to one of the college deans.

"Who's that?" Jake asked when he noticed me looking at Stephen. He's my cousin. I've been hanging out with him and his friends because Blake hasn't attended school for more than a week already. When I went to their house last week, she told me that she have to stop school because of financial problems. Her mom is getting sickly lately as well that's why she must help her by working.

"No one" I answered and continued eating. After eating our lunch, Jake and the others went to the classroom while me on the other hand, went to the restroom. After a couple of minutes, I came out just to realize that it was already raining outside. It has been cloudy the entire day and the weather forecast said that it would rain in the afternoon.

My next subject would be at the other building. I didn't bring an umbrella so I must not run to my next subject, hoping that I wouldn't get wet that much.

"Damn!" I hissed and then ran towards the direction of the classroom without hesitation even though I didn't have an umbrella. I was in a hurry that I didn't notice that I was about to collide to someone in front of me. I bumped into him. His familiar cologne tickled my nose. I looked up to see his face. I was right.

I didn't know why but there was something about him that I always recognize him just by his scent without looking at him. It's weird.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Stephen. He pulled me under his umbrella.

"I just came to talk to someone here. Anyway, you shouldn't run in the rain like that. You might get sick" he said. I couldn't help but smile. He sounded worried.

"Are you worried of me?"

"Of course, I'm worried" he answered seriously. Our eyes met and there goes my heart again. I was about to say something when a loud thunder roared. I squealed in fear and hugged him tightly. I felt his arm snake around my waist.

"It's alright. I'm here. You don't have to be scared" he said softly. I slowly unwrapped my arms around him. Our eyes met again. He touched my cheek with the back of his hand. The world suddenly went quiet as if we're the only people existed in the world.

I swallowed hard when I saw his face slowly drawing closer to mine. I felt like I was under his spell.

I didn't know what happened to me. I suddenly found myself tilting my head a little bit and then tip toed to meet his lips. Our lips crushed as our bodies pressed tighter.

It was just my first kiss but it didn't disappoint me. It felt so magical. His warm lips gently coaxing me to kiss him back and I did.

"You're really so beautiful, xuxu" I breathed when our lips parted for a second. Then we kissed again as if our lives were depended on it.
