One morning, inside a house of a quiet town not far from the Cloud Recesses.
Wei WuXian: (lying down comfortably on bed while looking around his surrounding; suddenly stops moving)
Zhangfu (*husband), come here. Hurry.. (sits up on bed)
Lan WangJi: (was looking at some papers) Zhangfu? Right, that's me. (puts the papers down and walks towards the bedroom; sits on the bed beside Wei WuXian)
Is everything all right?
Wei WuXian: (smiles and puts Lan WangJi's hand on his stomach) ...
Lan WangJi: ... (becomes quiet for a while then suddenly lits up in excitement)
Wei WuXian: Felt it? Little Lan just kicked.
Lan WangJi: (nods and looks happy)
Does it hurt?
Wei WuXian: For now, no. Maybe in the later part when he/she will grow more bigger.
Lan WangJi: (rubs WuXian's stomach gently) Yinger (*baby/infant), don't kick too hard in your mama.. (puts his head on WuXian's stomach)
Wei WuXian: (felt the baby kick on WanJi's face) Oh! I think the baby heard you. (pats WangJi's head)
Lan WangJi: (nods) Do you think we're having a boy or a girl?
Wei WuXian: It really hard to tell. Hmm.. Somehow, I feel like we are having a boy.
Lan WangJi: What makes you say that?
Wei WuXian: (smiles and pinches WangJi's cheeks) Because I want our baby to look just like you. A mini Lan Zhan running around the house. Do you prefer having a boy or a girl?
Lan WangJi: (smiles) Either..Besides, we are not stopping with one child, are we?
Wei WuXian: I know.. (pats his stomach) But you have to give this big mama time for a break. Being pregnant is not easy as you think.
Lan Wangji: (nods)
