Kat got there in no time, it not being long before the girls showed up.
They grabbed their pizza, making their way to a nearby park where immediately Zendaya went right to it.
"So what is going on?"
"I've been baking- like a lot. So far I've made flan, tres leches cake, cookies, brownies..."
"Wait. Why are you baking so much?" Laura asked between bites of the pizza.
"Tom may have... he may have said he loves me- or thinks he loves me, at least."
The girl's mouths hung open at the revelation, neither of them sure what to say.
It was finally Zendaya who spoke up, "What did you say back?"
"I... I hung up."
"You what?!" both girls yelled, earning some looks from others but they didn't care.
