Before Kat even had the chance to grab her bags, Tom grabbed them for her, smiling softly at her.

"So I was thinking..."

"Uh oh," Kat chuckled, "That's not good."

"Stop," Tom rolled his eyes playfully, beginning to pull her bag as they walked towards the exit.

"What were you thinking, Thomas?"

"Instead of staying in the hotel set up by Marvel maybe you can... stay with my family and I?"

"What?" Kat asked, stopping immediately.

Tom grew nervous seeing how she was looking at him, "I um... it's just... they know you're coming here and they miss you loads so they basically made me promise to make you stay at the house while you're here."

"Right," she said slowly, now starting to walk again, "And where would I be sleeping?"

"Paddy has offered up his room."

"I don't want to take his room from-"

"He's the one who offered it. Even set up a sleeping bag right next to the bed so you two can have a sleepover."

Kat couldn't help but smile brightly at that, "He's the freaking cutest."

"He is," Tom beamed, "So, what do you say?"

"Why can't I sleep in your room? Surely, you're not using it."

"As if I'd ever let you stay alone in my family's house without me keeping an eye on everything," Tom scoffed, making Kat laugh.

"It wouldn't be that bad."

"Do you and my mother still text?"

"Constantly."

"Then yes, it would be bad."

"The boys and I also have a groupchat going on."

"Oh dear lord."

"Oh! And your father and I share videos and pictures every now and then!"

"Okay, so, you're officially uninvited," Tom chuckled as he put the bag in his car, "I'll just drop you off at the hotel."

"Tom," she rolled her eyes.

"Seriously. Why would you want to stay with us when you could be staying at an expensive posh hotel?"

"I'd choose the Holland house over any hotel any day."

"You sure? Cause if I were you, I'd perfer a nice hotel room with Katherine rather than-"

"Thank you for reminding me," Kat gasped as she took her phone out, "I need to text her and tell her my gracious driver is kidnapping me."

"I should've just let you wait for the cab with her," Tom huffed as he finally pulled out of the parking spot.

It didn't take long for them to get to the Holland household and for Tom's family to be all over Kat.

Tom smiled seeing Kat laughing with his family but still shook his head when not one of them greeted him.

"You know I'm your actual blood relative right? Your son? Your brother?"

"We saw you just last week Tom. We haven't seen Katalina in months! I've made your favorite, come with me."

"Welcome home son," Tom mumbled under his breath as he began to tug Kat's bag up the stairs, "We've missed you. God dammit- even Tessa's abandoned me."

"Where do you think you're putting her bag, mister?" Nikki asked from the table setting the final plate in front of a very excited Kat.

"In my room?"

"Nice try," Dom chuckled, "It goes in Paddy's room."

Tom looked towards Kat who was not paying attention whatsoever. Her and Tessa were only paying attention to the food.

He knew she would regret that later, knowing Paddy did not sleep with any light in his room whatsoever.

Don't let the Spider-man sheets fool you, Paddy was a brave kid.

Kat found that out the hard way later that night after finally settling in his bed after saying her goodnights to the family.

She couldn't sleep at all.

Not only was it pitch black in the room, but with Paddy's snoring, Tessa's snoring joined his- and it also didn't help that she was currently taking up most of the bed, leaving Kat at the very edge because she would never dare to move her.

So she laid awake in bed, wondering if Tom was asleep.

Tom was definitely not asleep.

He was laying in his own bed, looking up at the ceiling, thinking about Kat.

He knew she couldn't sleep in the dark and he even tried to convince Paddy to sleep with a night light but he simply refused, telling him he didn't believe Kat couldn't sleep without a light on.

'I should've tried harder- made Paddy put a goddamn nightlight on,' Tom thought, now worrying for Kat.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his door creak open.

At first he thought it was Tessa finally returning to him after she realized it was him she couldn't sleep without.

But Tessa was in fact, tucked away in Paddy's bed and Kat stood at Tom's doorway, nervously biting on her lip.

"Hey," Tom whispered, sitting up immediately, "Is everything okay? Is something wrong?"

"Can I sleep in here tonight?"

"Yeah," Tom smiled, opening the covers for her to climb in.

"Thanks," she whispered, the two laying down with Kat facing away from him.

"Of course. And don't worry- I promise I'll keep my distance."

Kat only smiled to herself as she looked across at his dresser.

Her eyes instantly went to the mini polaroid photos he had displayed, her thinking of Zendaya and how he told her she gave the camera to him as a birthday present.

She was in some of the photos, all his family and loved ones were, but Kat couldn't help but notice the photos he had of her and of them together.

There were so many and she could remember each of those days as if they were just yesterday that they happened.

All those memories were some of her favorite and here Tom had them in his childhood room.

Kat turned around slowly, feeling her heart race when she saw that Tom was still awake and staring at her expectantly.

"Y-You have a lot of photos."

"I do," he smiled softly, "There's a lot of you, I know but... well, I like to look at you before I go to sleep. I have some at home too but-"

She couldn't help it.

She truly couldn't.

It was like all those months without talking were thrown out the window and they were right where they left off.

She was head over heels for him and she showed that when she kissed him with so much passion.

He shared that passion kissing her back, instantly pulling her close to him like his life depended on it.

Like, he was scared if he let go he'd lose her again... like, he was scared this was all just a dream.
