You've overcome the shock of what Namjoon told you yesterday, and realized Namjoon kissed another girl. Your best friend.
You think it'd be hypocritical to be mad, but is it?

You were forced into a kiss, and Namjoon wasn't. He was playing a stupid game, but did he kiss back?
Yesterday after Namjoon told you everything, the two of you watched a movie together in silence then Namjoon went home.
The story still has some things to be unfolded, but you're unsure of how to ask. It hasn't been easy to talk to Namjoon much recently, but you'll always have a piece of your heart dedicated to him, pushing you to be open and communicate.
So you call him.
And per usual, he picks up.
"Namjoon..."
"Yeah?"
"I know we didn't talk about the party much yesterday with you and Jisu, but I kind of want to know more."
"FaceTime?"
"No." You reply quickly, sounding cold. "Sorry... I just- want to call, no face, just call." You apologize.
"It's fine I understand." Namjoon sighs. You take a deep breath,
"Did you kiss back?" You ask, tears don't well up in your eyes, standing your ground.
"Well?" you say. There's a pause for only a few seconds, but it feels like a dreadfully long amount of time.
You already know the answer,
"Yes, but it meant nothing!--."
"How can a kiss mean nothing." You ask, rhetorically. Namjoon stops.
You bite your lip at an attempt to hold back your tears.
"How can a kiss ..mean nothing." You reiterate.
"You're in the moment and you don't care. Either you're forced into it, or it's a game. I don't know how to explain it... we were all tipsy.. just understand that Jisu is nothing more than a friend to me. Fuck, I barely remember the kiss. It was meaningless." Namjoon says, tension growing in his voice.
"Whatever." You say, speechless.
"Whatever? That's it?" He groans out of frustration,
"You don't understand, I love you--." You start to say, but you're cut off by the beep.
Namjoon hung up.
You don't even notice the tears streaming down your face as you lay back in your bed. You wipe your eyes, but that doesn't help much.
"Siri, play my second Spotify playlist."
"I'm sorry, I do not understand."
"Play my second Spotify playlist."
"Search the web for 'Play my second Spotify playlist'?"
You roll your eyes.
"Play my emo playlist from Spotify."
"Ok. Playing, 'we ✈️sad boy hours' Spotify playlist."
You put your phone down and close your eyes, but you're interrupted a few seconds later with notification.

Hoseok drives you to Jungkook's house but keeps his head straight, facing forward as he dives; not turning his head slightly to look at you. He doesn't say or ask anything.
Hoseok has always been there for you, and he always will be, but he can't stand seeing you when you cry because it makes him cry as well.
You get out of the car and stand on Jungkook's driveway, you look to Hoseok.
"Thanks for driving me."
"I'll see you at 8." He says, giving you a sympathetic thin-lipped smile before driving away.
Jungkook answers the door, holding a cup of tea.
"Green tea? For me?" You ask, he smiles and rolls his eyes.
"Yes, for you." He chuckles at your obliviousness. You take the warm drink and follow him inside.
"My parents aren't home so we can just chill in the living room."
Parents aren't home?
Y/N, you will not let anything happen between you and Jungkook.
"So what's going on?" Jungkook asks, getting straight to the point.
"Nothing." You respond, looking away from him.
"Listen, I know you probably don't feel like opening up right now but you're in my house and your eyes are puffy from crying, so please, talk to me."
