Oh Muslimah
Draw your armour around yourself
Wrap yourself in it head to toe
Let not strangers pierce it or reach you through it
Guard it with your life
Because your armour is your modesty, the absence of which is the absence of imaan…and that, is a fate worse than death
Oh Muslimah
Forget the standards determined by the fashion moguls
Forget the fashions, the trends inspired by the fashionistas
Forget the standard definition of cool, hip and modern
Forget moving with the times
Because the greatest fashion trend was created not today or yesterday or last month or even last year…it was created 1,400 years ago, by the greatest fashionista of all time, Faatimah Zahrah Radhiallahu Anha

Oh Muslimah
Take a walk through the annals of time
Read, when my Nabi asked the sahabah what the best thing is for a woman
Read, how Ali came to Faatimah and posed the question to her
Read, her brilliant reply
"It is that she looks at no man and no man looks at her."
Read, how pleased my Nabi was at her reply
"Faatimah is but a part of me."
Because her reply showed her to be the daughter of the Nabi of Allah and who can be more modest than him, he who was more modest than a virgin girl as well

Oh Muslimah
Read on, to the time Faatimah Radhiallahu Anha is passing away
Read, how she comes to Asma Bint Umais, full of worry
"Oh Asma, I am worried the shape of my body will be exposed after my death. Oh Asma, make sure I am covered well after I die."
Read, her joy when Asma Radhiallahu Anha makes her a coffin which exposes nothing and covers everything
Because even at the time of death her only worry was that just as no man saw her in life, so should no man see her in death

Oh Muslimah
Picture this scene in your head
Picture the day of Qiyamah when mankind will congregate on the plains of Arafah
Picture Faatimah Radhiallahu Anha standing up to cross the mahshar (gathering)
Picture…close your eyes and picture the announcer calling out
"Oh mankind, lower your gaze, for Faatimah Bint Muhammad wants to pass."
Because when you live your life with modesty Allah will not forsake it even on the day when no man will look at his son and no woman will look at her daughter

Oh Muslimah
Turn the pages even further, to the story of Musa Alaihis Salaam
Read, how he came to Madyan fearful, destitute and desperate
Read, how he helped two girls in need who in turn told their father about him
Read, how Shuaib Alaihis Salaam sent his daughter to fetch him
Read, how she walked towards him, that the Qur'an also describes her walk,

فَجَاءَتْهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَمْشِي عَلَى اسْتِحْيَاءٍ

"So one of them came to him, walking on modesty…"

Then read, how on the modesty of one woman Allah makes her the wife of a Nabi, Kaleemullah
Because when a woman cloaks herself in modesty Allah opens ways for her that she would never have imagined

Oh Muslimah
Do not be the type of woman of whom my Nabi said,
"Women who are clothed yet naked."
Do not be the type of woman of whom my Nabi said,
"They will be enticing men towards them and they will be inclined towards men. Their heads will be like the humps of a camel."
Do not be the type of woman of whom my Nabi said,
"They will not enter jannah and will not smell it's fragrance, even though it's fragrance is smelt from a distance of 500 years."

Because the sacrifices given for our deen can never be too great, and the price paid for our sins can never be too little

Oh Muslimah
Every princess must wear a crown
Let your crown be your modesty
Let the jewels studding it be your imaan
Let it's shine and dazzle come from the noor created within your heart
Let the world see you wearing it proudly as a symbol of your Islam
Because just as royalty wear their crowns as a stamp of their blue blood, so do you wear yours as a stamp of being the ummati of the one and only Nabi, Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
