Imagine: You always wanted to be a singer but you ended up being a Avenger. You loved all the Avengers especially a Bucky Barnes but you hated being an Avenger. It wasn't what you wanted to do at all but you're also scared to leave. You were exceptional at being an Avenger. Bucky notices this when you hide out in the music room of the tower. He doesn't talk much to anyone but Steve. He wants to talk to you but doesn't know really how to. You sort intimidate him mainly cause he has a crush on you.

Bucky woke up right before you and he practically sprinted out of his room. He's been learning this song for you on the piano. He ran into Steve. Steve was on his ass in shock and disoriented. Bucky was out of there before Steve could ask questions.

Bucky finally got to the room before you did and he made his way to the piano. He sat down at the bench and started warming up.

You were in the kitchen annoyed with everyone already and Steve walked in still shocked that Bucky didn't apologize. Bucky ALWAYS apologizes to Steve.

"What's got your panties in a bunch?" Tony asked Steve.

You just left before you'd have to break up a fight. You went down to the music room since that's your getaway from all the bullshit. You walked into the room seeing Bucky at the piano playing your favorite song. You smiled and went over to the super soldier. You sat beside him and he actually smiled at you. It warmed your heart to see him have an actual smile on his face.

"Dirty tissues, trust issues
Glasses on the sink, they didn't fix you
Lonely pillows in a strangers bed
Little voices in my head
Secret keeping, stop the bleeding
Lost a little weight because I wasn't eating
All the songs that I can't listen to, to tell the truth," you sang and Bucky happily listened.
"Loving you was young, and wild, and free
Loving you was cool, and hot, and sweet
Loving you was sunshine, safe and sound
A steady place to let down my defenses
But loving you had consequences."

"Hesitation, awkward conversation
Running on low expectation
Every siren that I was ignoring
I'm payin' for it," Bucky sang and it shocked you cause he's amazing at it.

It took him a lot of courage and it's husky low and has a bit raspiness to his voice when he sings.

"Loving you was young, and wild, and free
Loving you was cool, and hot, and sweet
Loving you was sunshine, safe and sound
A steady place to let down my defenses
But loving you had consequences," you both sang together and you guys did it perfectly.

You both smiled at each other like dorks but you both didn't care. He leaned down and pressed his lips against yours. You didn't pull away, you actually loved the kiss. It was slow and gentle like a small fire burning. You guys had to pull away for air cause you guess you need it. Bucky was blushing madly and grinning so widely and you were just the same.

"So....," you said quietly and he looked at you.

"Look, I've always had a crush on you and that was really great and it's been awhile for- for me. I know don't really show any emotions and shit. I- I like you a lot and y-you you really make me nervous but like... the good kind," Bucky rambled playing with the hem of his shirt and you found it adorable. "I also know I'm old as fuck but I- I would like to take y-you out on a d-date. If you'd let me. If not I get it. I- I did do some terrible things and uh—."

You kissed him placing a hand on his cheek and he once again felt his cheeks heat up.

"I'm sorry, I would've stopped you sooner but you're adorable, James. Also it's yes to the date," you said smiling.

"Thank fucking god," Bucky said and he kissed you cupping your face into both hands.

The metal felt cold to the touch but you didn't care cause you were kissing the super soldier.

"I've always liked you too and you also make me nervous... in a good way," you said looking at his steely blue eyes.
