Chapter 23| All for a Better Future
—Your POV

"WHAT?!" They all screamed in unison.

The pain from my left eye was starting to kill me, even my head started throbbing. I dealt with many types of injuries before, but this was by far one of the worst, physically.

"If any of you cause a fucking commotion, I'll actually fucking kill you. No joke."

Everybody was quiet.

I didn't notice this before but, there was actually a pro hero here. He was already giving Izu a hand with his broken bones. While Shou tied Stain with a few yards of rope and was already dragging him.

The pain was distracting me from everything else, while the fucking blood just made this more dramatic than ever. But the bleeding was slowly stopping, which could be a good or bad sign.

"I'm sorry kids, I'm suppose to be a pro but I just ended up being useless." The pro sighed. Izu replies with a few words that I couldn't quite catch.

"Akari-Chan?"

"Hm?" Since I was walking behind all of them, I had to look up. I still had my left hand cover my bad eye.

"Do...you think you're actually going to be half blind?" He asked with hesitation.

"...I don't know. If I do, I know somebody that could give me a badass robotic eye. They work like a real one." I chuckled.

"Really? Are...are they just..like you?" Izu asked again, I fully knew what he meant. Was the person I was talking about also...a villain.

"Yeah...he's like my family. He's like that girl from the support department, except different motives. He's a great guy, love him to death." I sighed at the memories of them.

"He must have a really strong quirk for that."

"Quirk? Dude, he's quirk-"

Out of nowhere, Gran Torino jumps a gives Izu a kick to the face. He was definitely mad. He caught sight of my with my left hand on my eye with blood, his face went a bit pale.

A few other pros got to the scene, although they were too late. One of the taller man glared at me as he made his way over to us. I wasn't expecting anything, but at least something fucking friendly!

"The Hero Killer?! You kids took him down?!" The lady said.

There was some talking among the heros, but one of them, seemed to really hate me.

"You're behind this, aren't you, Zero?" He pointed at me, accusing me.

"He's right! She's the one who's behind all of this! She's working with the Hero Killer!" One of his colleagues agreed.

"What?! She saved us! If she wasn't here, Midoriya would be dead!" Iida defended.

I stayed quiet. I'm still a fucking villain in their eyes.

"Call an ambulance! Can't you see she's injured?" Gran Torino tried to changed the subject. He shook his head at their poor analyzing skills.

My left eye twitched, making me wince at the suddenly blot of pain that shot through my head. As a result, I started cursing every word I knew.

I payed little to zero attention to the talking, I focused on my surroundings. Because I fucking now, when you're at your weakest point, it's people's back turn. In this case, I was looking for Tenko and Kurogiri. And I spotted them, on top of a building.

"DUCK!!" I heard Gran Torino yell.

In a flash, a flying Nomu picked Izu off his feet and into the air. Of course, without one eye, my eye coordination was off, and I couldn't risk frying him. At least not now.
