October 20, 20XX - Monday
Someone reported me missing...
Only my father came to mind.
Why did he wait this long?
Maybe he didn't want to be investigated.
I sighed.
I was seated along the hotel's pool, moving my feet around in the water as I watched Taehyung.
He was floating on his back staring up at the ceiling.
Over the weekend, he didn't get much sleep. He was busy figuring out what our next move was as he hunched over the desk with a map and a tiny notebook.
He needed some time out of the room, so we came to the pool area. Luckily no one was using it.
"Taehyung, are you afraid of losing me?" I asked him quietly.
"More than you could ever know." He whispered.
Me too.
Taehyung turned to his side to stand up in the water.
He made his way over to me and wrapped my legs and arms around him before pulling me into the water.
We stared at each other for a while, conversing with our eyes.
Resting my hand in his cheek, I told him, "You won't lose me, I promise."
He parted his lips to release the breath he kept trapped behind them, leaning in to capture my lips.
That night, Taehyung showed me that I had not been loved the way only he could love me.
