Ch.8

Lyricals POV

She came up to me and slapped my hard against my cheek it stung so bad. I just looked at the floor she couldn't see my face bc of my hair but I didn't dare move

"When I woke up there was no food on the table where is my food!!!" She yelled loudly sending a kick to my stomach

Please not the stomach anything but the stomach

She kept hitting and kicking me but when it came to the stomach I would yelp out in pain it hurt so bad. I cried so hard I tried staying strong but it didn't work

" look at how useless you are PUNCH why would you ever KICK think your father KICK would want anything PUNCH to do you KICK and the boy what is he doing here PUNCH he can't protect you in any way PUNCH such a shame I should have put him up for adoption when he was born KICK " she said while doing everything in her power to hurt me

She went into the kitchen for a while I thought she had left but I was terribly wrong as soon as I tried to get up she came back out with a big knife

NO NO NO PLEASE

" you don't deserve to be in a world you deserve to be gone!!!!" She screamed running towards me

Quickly rolled over as she tripped. I tried getting up but fell. I went and crawled to the stairs trying to push up on one of them to give me some sort of strength. As I started climbing she grabbed my foot and pulled me back. I rolled over onto my back and grabbed her hand stopping her from putting the knife any further. She used her free hand to slap me but I kicked her off. The knife slid across the floor as she tried getting up.

At least the weapon is gone

I thought she had passed out so I slowly limped up the stairs. I didn't get too far until I heard a noise behind me so I turned around and she grabbed my foot and pulled me down the stairs. It didn't hurt too much because I only got up 5 of them. When I looked back she had the knife in her hand again.

"DIE I DONT NEED YOU ANYMORE I DONT WANT YOU OR JAX AND NEITHER DID YOUR GUYS' FATHER" she screamed in my face

"ROT IN HELL" I screamed as I kicked her in the face

Her neck snapped back and I fell out of her hand and she laid there on the floor with a lot of blood coming out of her nose.
I quickly got up and limped up the stairs to Jax's room.

I knocked violently on the door trying to get him to open it.

"JAX hurry up open the door!" I said in a rush

He opened the door with tears running down his face

"Lyrical I'm scare are yo-" he started talking but I cut him off with a hug and a kiss on the head

"I'm okay Jax but we need to leave now like RIGHT NOW" I said in a rushed tone "Go get our bags out the closet please and get a jacket"

He ran to the closet to go them as I went to go get his jacket. We always kept 2 backpacks in case this situation ever happened just to be prepared which is also the reason why I tell him to open the window. As soon as he was done we went out the window and climbed down the tree. As soon as we were down we ran around the corner. We didn't go through the front door because I didn't want him seeing that. Jax was really quiet so I decided to check up on him.

"You okay??" I asked really concerned

"Yeah it's just... where are we gonna go we don't have a home anymore" he said putting his head down
