Ch.16

Lyrical POV

We walked back inside as I wiped away my tears so that Alex and Justin wouldn't notice I was crying and ask questions. As I sat back down on the couch Ryder started speaking to me

"You weren't in here when I said it but I am gonna be gone tomorrow morning but I will be back for your mini birthday party" he said looking annoyed then laughing

I nodded my head and then started playing games on my phone I felt someone's eyes on me so I looked up to see Ryder quickly looking away. So I started to admire him.

He had dirty blonde hair that was always messy but it looked good on him. His skin tone was sort of pale but he was getting a bit tan from the weather lately. He had a killer jawline which is something all the girls at school loved about him.

As I kept staring at him I ended up making eye contact with him as he was smirking.

"Done staring" he laughed as I shook my head no

I grabbed a paper and wrote "I wasn't the one who was staring firstvyeah don't think I didn't notice"

His eyes went big and his signature smirk left now it was my turn to laugh

"Whatever" he mumbled

For the rest of the day we just did nothing watching tv eating snacks on our phones. I ended up doing an application for a job because I think I should start getting my own money. Jax ended up waking up so I was gonna give him a shower until he stopped me.

"I can do it myself now I know how" he said turning on the water until I stopped him

"But I always do it for you?" I whispered making sure only he can hear me

"Lyrical I appreciate it but I'm almost 8 I'm not a baby anymore" he says irritated

"Stop acting that way... but okay I understand but never forget your always gonna be my baby brother okay?" I whispered kissing his head

"Okay okay" he says laughing as I left the bathroom

I waited for him to get out the bathroom. I got bored so I texted Ryder

Me: RYDERRRRRR

Ryder🥵💗: WHAT WHATS WRONG ARE YOU OKAY!??

Me: lol yeah I'm alright I just got bored I'm waiting for Jax to get out the shower

Ryder🥵💗: 😑... I thought you give him a shower?

Me: I do but... he says he isn't a baby he can do it his self 😕

Ryder🥵💗: HA you just have to except that he is growing up

Me: yeah yeah... anyways so who are you meeting with tomorrow morning

Ryder🥵💗: oh uh just someone it's not really important

Me: okay.... are you sure because you seemed irritated when you mentioned it

Ryder🥵💗: oh that, that was just because I have to wake up early

Me: you were gonna have to wake up early anyways 😂 but okay good luck

Ryder🥵💗: thanks lol

I waited until he was finally done which wasn't too long but kind. He left to his room and I took a shower myself. I got out and put on leggings and a plain black shirt and put my hair into a messy bun then went to the living room.
