Ch.24

Lyrical's POV

"Hi I can I get a strawberry ice cream and a uh... what type do you want" Xander stays looking over at me

"A cookie dough ice cream please" I tell the guy in the booth while taking out my money

"Oh it's okay my treat" Xander says with a small smile planted on his face

He gives us our ice cream and we go walk around. It was silent at first until he started talking.

"How about we play 21 questions you know to get to know each other" he says licking his ice cream. I nod my head agreeing

"Just one question..." I say quietly

"Shoot" he said looking at me

"How do you play" I ask

"Well I ask you a question you answer and you ask me a question it can be the same question or a new one and we ask 21 each" he says "okay so what school do you go to?"

"Valley high.... how about you" I ask looking at him

"I go to Grover high school" he says looking back at me "how old are you?"

"I just turned 17" I say now eating the cone

"Same except I was already 17" he said laughing

"Oh okay um what's your most embarrassing story" I ask

"Oof okay well um when i was younger about 10 I was at a family um party small party and I spilled tiki punch on my khaki pants and all the older guys like 15 thought I was a secret girl who started her period" he says rubbing the back of his neck as his cheeks went pink

I couldn't help it it was funny I had to laugh.

"Okay okay the moment it over" he says looking down "what's your most embarrassing moment?"

I stopped laughing completely. I cleared my throat and started speaking "well when I went to my 8th grade dance this girl told me one of the popular guys liked me and wanted me to go talk to him and when I did him and his friends plus her and her friends um laughed in my face" I say looking down

"What the Hell thats not embarrassing that's just that girl being a bitch" he says rolling his eyes

"Yeah" I muttered "okay how would you describe yourself in 3 worlds or sentences?"

"Nice and chill but if you cross me I won't be as nice and thats a guaranteed if I have to be a rude person I will" he says serious as possible and I nod understanding

"I have feeling me and you are going to be good friends he says smiling

About an hour later we are still talking and laughing. I would love to be friends with Xander he is almost like another Justin just smarter.

"No I'm serious I used to think makeup was paint so I painted my room with it and my sister almost killed me" he says laughing along with myself

"Oh my god your so-" I was cut off by someone yelling my name

"Lyrical! Lyrical there you are we are so sorry we left we were looking and...oh who's your um friend?" Jenna asks looking at Xander who sat there quietly

"Oh guys this is Xander I met him about an hour ago Xander this is Athena Jenna and Honesty you know the ones I was telling you about" I say introducing them

"Hi guys" he says with a small smile

"Hey" they all say in sync

"Have you guys been here the whole time talking?" Athena asks
