as soon as ellie got home, she planned on getting ready. she stepped into her apartment with the biggest smile on her face. what a big mistake.
"so, eleanor, what's with the smile?" says her brother robert.
"oh my god! you guys scared me!" said ellie.
"are you going to answer the question?"
of course. of course she forgot her brothers were still at her apartment.
"guys, please, i need my personal space! i'm getting ready for a date!"
"woah woah woah!" her brothers get really excited.
the questions; "is it nick?" "always knew" "y'all are so cute!" "i ship" "hurry up" "what time is he picking you up?" went floaing around the apartment as ellie tried getting to her room. finally she reached the door and slam. now she could get ready without any annoying noisy brothers getting in her way.
she walked over to her wardrobe. her eyes scanned around for dresses she could possibly wear.
"nope" "not this one" "does this even fit?" "nahh" that's what she kept saying until she found this one dress.

ellie bought this dress a couple of months ago for a date, but of course nick cancelled it. she was glad he did now.
it was small, black and cute. obviously why she bought it. it was quite tight-fitting, but yet comfortable.
she put on her favourite necklace. it was kind of a double necklace. the lower, longer part, had a mood cresent and the upper, shorter part had a star. it was golden and had been given as a secret santa gift of jimmy and brina.
she put on a perfume, which had a sweet fragent. it was called 'miracle' by Lancome, paris. her mother gave her that for her first dates after Quasim got shot. she hadn't been able to use it much because she got afraid that if she dated someone else, they could get hurt. but she felt comfortable putting it on now because she was sure, nothing could go wrong.
finally, she was ready for her date. she didn't know when nick would be picking her up, so she decided to facetime him. they did that alot, every sunday in fact. it was a usual thing.
