"What's that supposed to mean?"

"That you're different. I don't know what it is, but there's something off about you. You're an amazing dancer and deserve to be here, but it's almost like you don't belong here."

SUMMARY

Unlike the rest of her family, Lily Luna Potter never attended Hogwarts. Her passion sided with ballet and snuck out to audition for the Royal Ballet Academy. She was sure it wouldn't matter, that she couldn't get in, but then she did. Once accepted, she begged her parents to let her attend. They agreed on one condition, she still learned magic. She took the deal immediately and enjoyed every second.

Natalia Blanchard grew up dancing. Her whole family danced and she was no exception. She was skilled at her and she liked it. The only problem was she wasn't good enough; not for her teachers, not for her family, and not for herself.

After watching Natalia spend countless nights dancing, alone, to the point where she looked close to passing out due to exhaustion, Lily took it upon herself to help her.

NOTES
-I just love this actress, she's amazing

-Lily is naturally good at dance and her family put her in ballet classes when she was six because she saw some ballet performance or something

-Natalia is not super good at school and spends countless hours working at school to get good grades and then spends a lot of time dancing to be better than her family so they would stop comparing her to them

-they don't just compare how she dances, but also might say her sister had more of a ballet body than her

-very toxic mindset that she has to be better

-Lily never felt that pressure because this was something she chose to do. She fought for it, but she never stopped loving it for one second. She was always in awe of Natalia dancing but one night she saw Natalia almost pass out and wanted to make sure she was okay

-relationship blossomed from there

-Lily is always Natalia's number one fan and wants her to know how amazing she is and just supports her in everything

-Natalia knew there was something different about Lily but never pushed her.

-Lily sometimes thinks she made a mistake in choosing to go to a muggle school, and almost thinks that she's turning her back on the Wizarding world, and Natalia will always hold Lily even when she didn't know what Lily was upset by. Once she finds out, Natalia assures her again and again because she loves her

-cute girlfriends

-Lily is gay and Natalia is pansexual

-include both school aspects and also dancing... obviously

-Lily's family tries to come to as many recitals and competitions as they can ( but sometimes no one is able to come and she's alone afterwards. Once she and Natalia start dating Natalia has Lily join her family after them when her family isn't there )

-Natalia's family loves her, and never purposely compares her to them, but sometimes they may mention her how sister was particularly a natural at something and then Natalia starts to work really hard to be as good or better at it

-Natalia is especially close to one of her older sisters

-Lily's siblings endlessly support her decision
