I got ready for the wedding, wearing a light pink flowy  dress and cute sandals. I did a half up half down look with my hair and curled the ends. I did my makeup with a pretty soft glam look on my eyes and a light foundation and concealer for my face. I added blush and highlighter while filling in my brows. I glanced into my vanity mirror and let out a sigh, a sad sigh. I got up and headed to my body mirror I fixed up my hair by twirling the ends with my fingers and snapped a mirror selfie. I posted it to my snapchat story with the caption

' ready for your big day '

I turned my music off and left my bedroom. I walked down the stairs and headed to the front door. I opened it softly and closed it behind me, I locked the door and walked down the driveway to my car. I got inside and shoved the key inside the ignition I plugged the aux cord into my phone and began to play one of my playlists on shuffle. I pulled out of my driveway and began to drive to the destination.

I pulled into the parking lot and turned my car off. I closed my eyes and took a deep, long breath I grabbed my phone and opened my car door. I walked along the gravel as many guests passed me and walked into the chapel. I made my way inside and was immediately met with Lisa. She gave me a massive grin and wrapped her arms around me I smiled and embraced her hug. She pulled back and looked at me sweetly she tucked some of my hair behind my ear

"How are you today sweetie?"

"Oh I'm just great" I smiled "it's my best friends big day I'm so happy for him"

She looked at me with a disbelieving look like she knew I was lying. She just gave me another hug and whispered in my ear

"It should be you standing at the altar today marrying the man you've loved forever"

She pulled away, smiled before walking away

I looked down and sighed. I walked to my seat and sat down staring into the distance as shock still stained my body. The sweet music shook me out of my thoughts as we all stood up and turned our heads to the doors where two men in suits opened them and stood at the sides. We all waited for the white angel to walk through the doors. I held back the water that I knew would fill my eyes any time soon and put on a smile as Katie began to walk down the aisle. I watched intently as she got closer and closer to the altar where Grayson stood awaiting his bride. We all sat down and looked at the couple in awe. I stared at them as they both held each other's hands as tears threatened to fall down my cheeks. The priest spoke looking at the couple happily however I didn't even know what he was saying. I couldn't focus on his voice as I was too busy fighting the salty water that was so desperate to leave my eyes. I took a sharp breath and looked down finally letting a tear drop onto my dress

"I wish I was that girl, standing at the altar"

I whispered

I couldn't take it any longer, it was too painful. I shot up from my seat and dashed out of the chapel as tears streamed down my face. I ran out of parking lot and headed straight to the beach which was behind the venue of the wedding that had been reserved meaning no one was there I ran to the edge of the sea and sat down in the sand. I pulled my knees to my chest and rested my chin on my knee caps as tears poured down my face.

20 minutes had past and I heard footsteps approaching me

"Y/n what the fuck!" A mad Grayson yelled

I didn't move

"What was that all about!"

"What was what all about?" I asked not looking at him with no emotion in my voice

"You know damn well what I'm talking about! What is wrong with you!"

I snatched my head to look at him and stood up
