She was sitting in the middle of the VMA stage, she leaned back on her hands and watched him. He was slowly walking around in front of her, fiddling with his guitar. Every once in a while he would look over at her, their gazes locking. The tension between them was almost too much to take. It settled in her chest and burned, causing her heart rate to speed up.

He was trying and failing miserably to not look at her, to not watch her every movement. He had never been good at pretending not to look at her, she had always had a way of holding all of his attention. To the point where it was distracting whenever she attended one of his shows, his eyes always seeking her out. But today, today she was continuing to toy with him. She wore skin-tight, high waisted athletic pants and a matching sports bra, leaving her middle bare and for his hungry eyes to roam over. His fingers itched and tingled from the need to want to touch her. To run his hand over her warm, smooth skin. He could feel himself losing the battle against the need to have her, even though they were right in the middle of their VMA rehearsals.

They were both brought out of their silent battle, by their choreographers calling for them to start the performance from the second verse, so they could go over the very sensual dance once again.

He was barely able to stay standing, watching the way her hips moved. The way her neck curved when she shot him a sultry look from over her shoulder, her eyes almost black. She walked backwards towards him, he moved the mic stand and pushed his guitar around to his back. When her body made contact with his, the air snapped and fizzled around them. It took everything he had not to pick her up, throw her over his shoulder and finish this.

She could feel him vibrate when pressed her back up against him, could feel him hold his breath. She could feel his heart beating erratically, she quickly shot him a look over her shoulder, before continuing the song. She wound her way down his body, feeling the very obvious way he was reacting to her. They grabbed each other's hand, and at the beat drop, he pulled her up and spun her around. Their bodies only inches apart, their breathing labored. He could feel the sweat beading on his forehead, and the hunger for her raging through him at not being able to touch her the way he wanted, to have her pressed up against him, to devour her whole.

Their eyes locked together, and she was almost lost. She was almost going to give in to her every desire for him. She was going to let him win. She bit the inside of her cheek, in an attempt to damper down the lust that was currently trying to cloud her judgment. She could feel it grip tighter in her chest and quickly shoot through her like a shock. His face started to slowly come closer, her eyes dropping down to watch his lips. Both of them so lost, they didn't realize they had long ago missed their cue.

"Okay! Let's take a break" Sara called out, huffing out her frustration and turning to leave.

Their noses brushed, and he could feel her warm breath danced over his face. His eyes traveling down to her lips, his tongue swiping over his own. He trailed his thumb down her cheek and he heard her catch her breath. He leaned closer, but before he could capture her lips, she pushed against him and twirled out of his grasp. He fell forward, landing on his hands and knees, as she walked away from him. His heart beating a million beats a minute, the desire that was coiling in his belly shooting out of his fingers. He just stared at her as she walked away, her hips swaying as she went.
