Jessica took a deep breath, not knowing what exactly she was going to do. She just left her family for a weekend or possibly longer. She chose to look at it as a vacation and slipped her sunglasses on.

"Are you okay Jessica?" Sarah asked looking over at her worriedly.

"Yeah, of course!" She gave a reassuring smile to Sarah.

She looked at Jessica questionably, but didn't say anything.

"We'll make it at about 5."

"Feels like an eternity."

"Look at this cute diner!"

"It is pretty cute! Let's stop!"

"Yess "

They turned and pulled into the parking lot. It was a cute themed 50's diner.

They walked in and the floor was checkered with records on the wall. The servers wore 50s dresses and pinned them up.

As they ate, Sarah stared at Jessica.

"What?"

"You seem off."

"How so?"

"You've not mentioned your husband or daughter once."

"What about it?"

"Jessica...."

"Danny and I aren't on the best of terms. It's okay though."

"If you say so."

"Sarah, I don't want to talk about it."

"Okay fine."

Jessica played with her food with her fork.

"I'm lost Sarah."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I don't know what I'm doing with my life or where it's going anymore."

"No one knows where it's going Jessica, you just ride through."

"I don't want to ride through it the way I have been."

"Jessica...."

"I know that sounds horrible."

"It's more than horrible Jessica, you have a family."

"I know, I'm taking this weekend to figure out my life choices."

"Good, you need to."
