Jessica and Evelyn were making cookies for Santa while Danny finished up his paperwork from his latest case in his office.

"Is daddy almost done?"

"Almost baby." She replied as she put icing on the cookie and bit into it.

"Mmm, that's what I needed."

Jessica offered the cookie to Evelyn and she giggled
and took a bite.

"Yum yum."

"Good?"

"Yes ma'am."

Danny walked in and smiled at them.

"Hello, my princesses."

"Hi daddy." Evelyn ran to Danny.

"Let's make more cookies ladies!" He said holding Danny.

"Jess, the doctor called and said the results are ready for us whenever we can stop by."

"Can we squeeze it in today or tomorrow?"

"We should be able to as long as your family doesn't show up super early."

"Okay."

Jessica took off her Christmas pajamas and slipped into bed. She curled up beside Danny and smiled.

"You're making a mistakeeee."

"And what is that?"

"Going to bed half naked with Christmas Eve tomorrow."

"It's only Christmas Eve- we'll be fine."

Danny shook his head and pulled her into his arms.

"Look at your little pooch of a belly."

"I know they're getting big."

"I can't wait to go see the gender results. I want to call our baby by it's pronoun."

"I can't wait either baby."

He stroked her belly and cuddled close to her.

"You are the strongest, sexiest and bravest woman ever. You're truly amazing baby."

Jessica teared up and looked at him.

"What'd I do to deserve that?"

"Loved me since we were 15."

"We'd have so many babies by now if I was normal."

"Shhh. You're normal and perfect. You're carrying our baby right now and I'm so in love with you for it."

"We stopped trying and our baby came to us."

"I hope the baby is 100 percent healthy."

"Me too Jessie."

Danny moved down her body and kissed her belly.

"Hello, my little miracle."

"Say hi daddy." Jessica said in a cute voice.

Jessica couldn't sleep that night. She was so nervous about the baby.

What if something was wrong with the baby? She worried so much lately and that scared her too
