CHAPTER 17

The ballroom was decorated simple but elegantly. If she were to have a wedding this is exactly how she would want it. The room was full and there was a makeshift platform in the middle. It was a pergola type structure with green ivy and white and pink flowers ran up and along the top beams. It gave a feeling of privacy while being open enough for everyone to see everything.

Council Grey, John, and Jonathan stood at the top waiting for her. Council Grey smiled and asked, "Are we ready to begin?"

"One moment Council Grey." Tracy said holding up her hand. John and Jonathan felt nervous but no would be able to tell by looking at them.

"I have agreed to this joining but I have some... requirements." Tracy said holding up a piece of paper.

Jonathan took the paper and read over it. His look became thunderous and he scowled at Tracy as his father took and read over the paper.

     1. I want a new bed and renovations to my liking for my bedroom.

"Why a new bed?" John asked confused, "That's a new mattress. Is it not comfortable?"

"It's been dirtied and forever ruined." Tracy said calmly keeping her face blank.

John nodded, even though he was still confused, before reading the next item.

     2. I was not your first, but I will be your last... if you feel that there are others out there that                 you wish to sample then by all means get "freaky with it" but don't come to me, until you               are completely done with being with anyone else.

    3. And for heaven's sake be discrete you Manwhore! And if I ever catch you banging another               bimbo in my bedroom I'll cut your balls off capeesh?

John felt said sad reading those two because it wasn't right and he knew she felt the pain of every infidelity. He was determined to step in and have a word with Jonathan.

    4. I promised Eli. I would allow him to mark me BUT I will choose the time with no coercion.

John was worried about this. The Council might demand a marking be made because without it there would be no connection between Alpha and Luna. The elders of his pack were already very vocal in their disapproval. John feared that they would demand the markings to take place sooner rather than later.

   5. As a Luna I will always make decisions for the good of the pack and will listen to council                  opinions on pack matter.  I do however, demand that any decision or ruling I make be the                final word and only I can rescind my own order.

   6. You are to never physically harm me.

These are my requirements. They are not up for discussion or negotiation. If you break any of these then I reserve the right to reject you and you must accept. If you break fidelity later, then any children/pups will be in my custody with visitation rights granted on the weekends and you will not contact me for any reason other than the health and well being of said offspring.

   Please sign and date below.

All three men were frowning after the paper was read in its entirety. Tracy swallowed nervously but refused to back down. Council Grey and John wanted to argue but Jonathan surprised everyone by taking the pen and signing his name and the date. Tracy took the contract and rolled it up. The ceremonies began and ended without a hitch. Documents were signed and Tracy's last name was changed to Mason. Everyone, except for a few jealous females, cheered for their new Alpha and Luna.

-------------

Over the course of the next two months, Camellia took Tracy under her wing to train her in the responsibilities and duties of Luna. Jordan kept training to minimum and Jonathan was too busy with the work of being Alpha to even think about cheating. Whenever it was around the time of the full moon Eli would take over Jonathan's body and take Tracy on dates.

Surprisingly, her grandfather brought a Sprite, called Firelight, to live with Tracy so that he could teach her the ways of Sprites, Fairies, and other small magical beings. The Sprite was only about 8 inches tall though he could shrink to a much smaller or larger size. He was over 420 years old but he looked very youthful. White blonde hair and light violet eyes blended well and his boyish face could have easily passed for a teen's.

Firelight was able to teach her different nifty things to know such as light bending, elemental control, and dream manipulation. Light bending used special mini mirrors and reflectors that catch starlight or sunlight and turn it into a weapon or a fire lighter. Elemental control could only be done to a small degree, light gusts of wind, slight rises in tiny amounts of water, but not much more. Dream manipulation was great because it allowed her to learn numerous languages and fighting styles.

Firelight took a liking to Carla and allowed her to sit in on magic training although he demanded privacy from everyone else. Everyday before and after school, Tracy and Carla trained. They trained in hand to hand combat and enhancing their senses. Tracy would also work on using her powers as a Protector. In order to engage her abilities, Carla figured out that she would have to attack with the intent to kill before Tracy's powers would come to the forefront of defense. It was touchy in the beginning, but soon Tracy had a better grip on using and controlling her powers.

"How did you do on the test?" Jack asked as they made their way to Jack's vehicle.

"I actually think I did really well." Tracy replied opening her door. It was her turn to ride shotgun.

"So what happened earlier?" Reilly asked.

"What do you mean?" Tracy asked.

"I heard you knocked down Greg and Tony earlier." Reilly said leaning forward.

"They were picking on Carla." Tracy said, "I'm not much of a Luna if I don't help one of my pack members."

"Greg and Tony are part of the pack," Landon argued.

"Which is why they should have known better." Tracy said.

"The girl's a loser. I know you don't like to hear it but it's true." Jack said, "She has no wolf and disappears for most of the day. She's mateless and has no friends. A useless Omega."

"Who would want her? I doubt even an Omega would accept her as a mate." Landon chimed in.

"I know." Reilly said, "Too bad Alpha Mason forced us to take her in. A bad apple like her old man. You know he was crazy and murdered his own mate. Then had her with a human before murdering the human as well."

Tracy was enraged but couldn't say too much in order to respect her friend's privacy. But she did slap Reilly in the back of the head.

"OW! What was that for?"

"She sounds like she's had a rough life. Who asks for a messed up life like that? And yet your over here acting as though an innocent victim is responsible for all the tragedy around her." Tracy gritted out angrily.

The guys felt bad, immediately apologized, and promised to try and be nicer towards Carla. Tracy was anger but then realized that she was drawing too much attention when she had promised to respect her friend's privacy.
