Chapter 25 Cross Roads

CPoV I woke up on Lauren's chest,I got up from the couch and woke her up.

"Let's go to the bed baby"I said as I kissed her lips

"Mhm i rather not fall back asleep now"she replied hugging on to me,i helped her sit up so she could look at me,my heart was aching ,but i returned her a smile

"What's wrong?"she said finally able to read my face,with a simple glance she knew

"You know that I love you with all my heart Lauren"I said tears beginning to run down my cheeks

"Yeah but you shouldn't have to cry about it"

"I just don't think we can both be fully happy at this moment"I said looking down not being able to see her heart break on her face

"What do you mean"

"I don't want to continue to hurt you because of my parents and the image I have to upkeep with the company,I really don't, you deserve better than me"I said finally letting it all out

"I love you Camila,I told you I was willing to wait,you mean the world to me baby,look at me"she said cupping my face and kissing me,"Your love is worth waiting for I asked you to promise me that one thing and I said I would wait I'm sorry I haven't been keeping it"she said the tears leaving her face made me feel worse because I knew how much this meant to her

"You mean so much to me"I said burying  my face into her chest my smaller figure fitting perfectly into hers

"Come on let's go to bed babe"she said holding my hand and kissing the back of it

We brushed our teeth and went on to sleep,I don't think either of us got much sleep but we held each other until the alarm rang.

"Good morning babe do you want to take a bath together?"

"Yeah I'll be there in a bit"I replied as Lauren walked off to the restroom to prepare the bath

"Is it ready?"I said walking to the restroom a couple minutes later ,but she was already in the bubble filled bath waiting for me

"All that is missing is you"she said smiling at me,every moment that we had alone was so intimate when it was good,I was so attracted to her physically but her heart is what I loved the most.I laid my body over hers as I placed my body in the bathtub,she held me tightly and I closed my eyes knowing she would keep me up float, we staid like this for 20 minutes before she kissed my cheek to wake me up

"We have to get to work in a bit Camz"

"We can stay today we don't have meetings Elsa Can take care of the rest"

"Babe come on"

"I just want to lay here with you Lauren,can't we have a couple days to ourselves"

"We can have the rest of our life's for ourselves babe"she replied as I began to sit up on my own and turn to face her,I smiled and pecked her lips,she placed herself forward to meet me in the middle of the bathtub and kiss

"I don't get tired of telling you that I love you Laur"I said kissing her forehead placing myself under her so she was straddling me

"I don't get tired of hearing you tell me my love"she replied placing her hand on my neck as I gripped her waist under the water

"Can we stay in here until we are too wrinkly"I said laughing

"Babe that'll cost us a lot for Botox"

"You don't need any of that you're perfect the way you are Lauren,nothing more nothing less"I said as she kissed my lips,a moan escaped my mouth as she sucked on my lip
