Chapter 23 Be Happy

After work, I decided to go home but Camila decided to stay after,I gave her space as the talk we had earlier was heavy on her.I didn't know myself why I was pushing for this,I was terrified but I was getting tired of hiding.With Victoria I didn't have to hide even in public I would hold her hand,it would make her so happy when I would do any of those gestures and even though it terrified me to do them I was glad to make her that happy.It sucked that it wasn't normal for others,I just wanted to be happy,with Camila,I wanted to feel that happiness that I saw in those couples.

At this point I really wanted to go out,I didn't just want to wait for Camila here,like always it was just work and then waiting for Camila,in this moment I realized I hadn't even called my old friends and told them that I was back,I needed my own life here,I hated seeing people make their relationship the only thing they saw,I wasn't going to let it happen,Camila needed her space anyway.

I called up Lucy I had texted her a couple days before coming back but never really got to hang with her,she loved partying and we had a lot of things in common so it couldn't be that bad right?Of course she was down to go to a club,her friends dad was an owner so we would get in quick.I took a taxi to her house as we had planned to pre game before the club.

I knocked on the door nervously I hadn't seen her in years in person other than her instagram posts, she was all for the culture and showing the feminine body, I loved her vibe.

"Hey Lauren"she said smiling

"Hi it's been too long"I said hugging the brunette

"It has but you still looking stunning af"

"As if you don't either Lucy"

"I try"

"Well it's working"

"Thank you,here is some vodka,just down it and there's chasers in the fridge"Lucy's dad was a musician so of course  her home was very luxurious but she added so many things to make it rustic

"Thanks,are you rolling with anyone?"

"Mhm no not really I have a couple people that come and stay over,mostly girls "

"Oh"I replied zipping the vodka

"I didn't tell you I'm bi?"

"No,I mean It's fine,"I said shaking it off,we had always flirted with each other but I always thought it was friendly

"Mhm perfect miss Jáuregui would never right?"she said looking at me

"If you Only knew"I replied arching my eyebrow

"Mhm so you have tasted the cherries hu"she said smirking

"Yeah,I just haven't been able to be all the way out there"I didn't know why I was opening up to her so soon,but it was liberating

"Don't worry I won't tell I know that image you guys have to up keep"I felt some sort of relief but even if she hadn't told me I'd know she wouldn't blackmail me like that

"Are you still modeling?"the woman had a figure to kill for

"Yeah but I do what I want my family's supportive they didn't care as much as I thought they would",she said so carefree, "I know it must be different for you but they are family I doubt they'll leave you,plus you're a grown woman you can make your own decisions as long as you're happy they should be happy"All that she was saying to me was just hitting me in the heart

"Thank you i really needed to hear that I'm tired of hiding honestly"

"Well we aren't hiding tonight babe"she said smirking
