"You live in the UN Village?!" Jungkook screamed while slamming on the breaks. He was both shocked at Myeonji's wealth and the red light they encountered.
"Jungkook, seriously?" Beomgyu spoke. He turned to Myeonji. "Sorry if that was offensive." Beomgyu scratched his neck.
Myeonji shrugged. "It's honestly fine. I'm used to that." She smiled.
The three were inside Jungkook's car and were on their way to Myeonji's house. After Beomgyu and Myeonji had lunch together, Beomgyu called his brother, Jungkook, to drive them to Myeonji's house. Jungkook obviously had to be convinced so Myeonji offered him a visit inside her house.
"What's it like inside your house?" Jungkook genuinely asked.
Myeonji thought for an answer to that question. She never really hung out at her house because she was always so alone.
The ride ended after ten minutes and soon they were entering the gated area. Jungkook would babble about how cool the house looked outside and Beomgyu just made sure his brother wouldn't take the questioning too far to be impudent to Myeonji. Jungkook parked his car inside Myeonji's three-car garage and then they all walked out. The two boys followed Myeonji inside the house and they were astonished by the interior.
Beige, white and grey were the dominant colours inside the household. It was a modern type interior with all sorts of technology in every room. Right in front of the main entrance was a long and wide marble staircase and above it, a beautiful diamond chandelier.
"So," Myeonji paused in front of them. "Welcome to my house, I guess?"
Before Myeonji could explain any further, two figures appeared from behind her.
"Myeonji! Are these your friends?!"
Myeonji's eyes widened as she spun around. "Mom? Dad?"
Myeonji's parents, Hwang Wooseok and Hwang Eulji were supposed to be on a business trip to Jeju Island. It came to a shock when they appeared standing before her.
