"I'm just here to give you a supportive push towards fixing your problem with what makes you happy. Choi Beomgyu."

Myeonji knew she was supposed to feel touched, but she couldn't help but laugh. The look on Seonghwa's face was filled with confusion and embarrassment.

"W-Why're you laughing?" He stuttered while suddenly standing up. He shoved the chair in front of him jokingly to add to the act. "I give you advice and you just laugh at it?!"

Seonghwa smiled gently when Myeonji threw her head back due to the immense laughter.

"Whatever," Seonghwa bent down, crouched then reached for her hand. "If he doesn't make you happy anymore, I'll be here." He rubbed circles with thrumb on her hand, and what shocked Myeonji was she didn't even pull her hand away.

She missed this. Not with Seonghwa, but with Beomgyu. She missed him coming over to her house and making a fool out of himself in front of her parents, she missed the way they held hands but most importantly, Myeonji missed the way she felt with him.

At the time, she was too blinded by her feelings to notice. Myeonji didn't care that it was Seonghwa, so, she took the power of this moment to help herself.

In other words: taking advantage of Seonghwa.

Myeonji stood up with the help of Seonghwa and the two walked back to school, hand-in-hand. They were too busy to notice that Beomgyu had actually gotten out of the shop to see it himself, to see if they were actually holding hands. He had actually been watching from inside the store.

His heart shattered at the sight in front of him. Myeonji and Seonghwa holding hands? Beomgyu thought that meant something and his hopes of making up with Myeonji were getting lower and lower.

"Gyu! Take the apron off and run back to school. It's almost time for your afternoon classes!" His mom called from the store.

Beomgyu didn't take notice of her at first though, his eyes were glued to the pair in front of him, walking away. Everything at that moment made sense to him now, ignoring the problem won't fix it. It'll only grow.

"Dammit, I should've listened to her," Beomgyu smirked as he ran back into the store thinking about his plan to make up with his girlfriend. He ran past his mother and threw the store's apron on the counter and threw his bag over one shoulder.
