Jasmine POV *A couple of weeks later*

Today, Megan and I were special guests at the Florida Beauty Expo down in Miami. We had to look our absolute best. After all, it was a BEAUTY festival. As we got ready, I could hear Jaxon impatiently mumbling about how he didn't understand how it could take someone so naturally beautiful to get ready. I smiled at his compliment even though it was given out of anger.

"What do you even need to put on? Shit! It's not like you need makeup. Fuck! I've been waiting here for you two  to get ready for over an hour!"

Megan and I couldn't help but giggle like school girls. Men would never understand the process that women had to go through to transform themselves on a daily basis!

[Jaxon waiting on Megan and Jasmine to finish getting dressed^^^]

After finally getting dressed, we all headed out to the event. As top beauty influencers, Megan and I were both lucky enough to negotiate contracts with two top beauty companies where we would be expected to do meet and greets throughout the day! I'd never done anything on this level before and watching the people waiting to burst into the convention hall was nerve wracking and overwhelming to say the least.

Jaxon squeezed my hand reassuringly as we found our area to set up our things.

"Babe, you'll be fine

"Babe, you'll be fine." Jaxon said confidently and a small smile creeped up my face. I was actually glad he tagged along as moral support even though he would probably be bored out of his mind for the entire day. I mean....look at Jaxon. He was a tattooed manly man; this whole event wasn't really his scene.

We made our way through the crowd of people and I couldn't help but notice that the booth for the COCONUTs Hair company where Marcy worked was located not too far from the booth I would be working from.

After the whole ordeal with Marcy trying to blackmail us, she seemingly disappeared once everything with my mom was exposed and she didn't get paid. I was beyond thankful to finally have her out of our lives.

But Jaxon wasn't satisfied with just allowing her to disappear out of our lives. Jaxon dug up all of the harassment receipts that he could find and he insisted that we actually hire a lawyer. The lawyer advised us that he could serve her with papers that warned her to delete all traces of the video of me or be prosecuted to the fullest. In the warning, Marcy was informed that blackmail was a punishable offense by the law and could be a felony. Once those papers were served, Jaxon felt more confident that we wouldn't have to worry about her. We hoped the bitch was shook.
