I smiled, my tone light and playful, "That girl is so dumb."

{That was not the expected reaction. She was supposed to feel pity and sympathise with Rose, not insult her while wearing a big smile.}

It shivered, {#my host is scary, urgent help needed online#}

"I remember you said that I would enter someone's body in the story to do my mission." I recalled, my smile turning cold as a thought popped into my head, "I hope I am not entering Rose's body."

If it were, should I get rid of them?

[What? N-No] It laughed nervously [O-of course not. How can my lovely host enter a dumb girl's body?]

{Why is she releasing such a bloodthirsty aura? I feel like one slip-up with my words would render me dead. Then again, I am a system, and technically, I am indestructible. Why does it still feel like she could kill me though?}

"Good," I cooed, giving it a childish, innocent smile, which I know makes me seem harmless.

[...]

{Innocent?! No way my host is innocent. Harmless?! Then how is she the top assassin? I can't be fooled by her smile! No way!}

"Anyway, how about we start this mission? I am getting bored," I yawned, hurrying it up.

[Right, we are starting soon]

"Goodie! Goodie!" I said as I bounced around, clapping my hands.

{She is behaving like a little child, but I know better than that. I won't be easily deceived!}

I opened my eyes to find that I was lying on a bed in a fancy room.

Hmmm... I wonder whose body I entered?

[Host, do you want to gain this body's memory?]

"Yeah."

Once I received the memory, a big smile crept onto my face. 

The character I was currently occupying was quite interesting~

My new name was Starling Gain, the daughter of one of the top 50 richest people. She was a family friend to Prince's family and also the main reason for how Prince turned out.

I smirked. This just got a lot more interesting.  

{Host smirked, not smiled, but smirked! I am already pitying whoever made her smirk. #RIP#}

[Anyway, host, your mission is to save the female lead. You must not allow her to marry the male lead so that she won't die.]

"You want me to save that dummy?"

I was already annoyed with that girl because of how idiotic she behaved, and now Little que wants me to save her.

{Host is emitting a really cold aura right now. #RIP again# }

[H-Host, aren't you going to do it? You know it is going to be challenging and... fun?]

'True, it is going to be fun to tear them apart and ruin the whole plot~'

Hmmm... But first, let me greet my 'parents'.

I went downstairs, mentally preparing to act like Starling. Starling was a nice girl who behaved sweetly towards her parents, so it shouldn't be too hard.

"Mom!" I called out as I ran to Starling's mom.

"My darling, how was your night rest?" Mom asked, patting my head.

Mrs. Gain, aka Mom, was very doting on her child. As Starling was an only child, her parents were very doting and gave her whatever she wanted. Funny enough, Starling wasn't the type to ask for things, which made them even more willing to give her whatever she asked for as they understood how important it must be if she did.

"So is it only your mother that you greet when you come down? Can't you greet your father as well?" Starling's dad asked, crossing his hands in indignation.

Mr. Gain, aka Dad, was very indulgent with his daughter and spoiled her on any occasion he could. He also behaved like a child when it came to getting his daughter's affection. So sometimes Starling would be more affectionate to her mom just to make her dad jealous.

"Yeah, Mom is the best!" I said playfully as I hugged her tightly, making him jealous like Starling did.

Dad huffed, obviously jealous again, while Mom laughed at our antics. They didn't even suspect me since my acting was spectacular due to the times I had to go undercover in my world.

After playing around some more, it was time for me to take action for my main goal.

"Dad, Mom, can I study at Scalia High School?" I asked, pulling out my puppy eyes to increase my chance of success.

[Oh, so this is why you came to them immediately. Smart]

'Of course, I have to be near the male and female lead for my mission. However, since Starling's family is staying in Country Z, I am too far from them.'

"But darling, why would you want to go to such a faraway place? Don't you want to stay with Mom and Dad?" Mom asked after exchanging a glance with Dad.

"I want to have a new experience, Mom." 

The only time they ever hesitated in giving Starling something was when it involved being separated from them.

It took some persuasion, but they eventually gave in to my puppy eyes, which meant I was going to school next week. I thanked them happily, finally hugging Dad as well before hurrying back to my room to pack and prepare.

Since Rose and Prince are still in high school, it isn't too late to stop her from developing feelings.

I yawned as I placed my packed suitcase to the side.

[You seem tired. You should rest up, host.]

'Yeah, I will. I'm off to sleep then.'

[Good.]

I changed into my nightwear before flopping onto the bed.

'Little que, don't wake me up too early, ok?'
