Tall S/O Headcanons | Dimitri Blaiddyd

- Okay, so I'm gonna preface this by saying yes, he does initially feel threatened by you.
- Which isn't necessarily a bad thing and it isn't saying much because he wasn't really that tall pre-time-skip
- It means he has respect for you and believes in your strength
- Before the time-skip, he'd see you as a worthy opponent and would often ask you to spar with him
- He would leave you to do your own thing in battles. He had the utmost faith in you and your abilities
- I mean even if you were short he'd have faith in you but you know what I mean I'm not obligated to explain anything to y'all
- If you were dating pre-timeskip, he'd probably quite enjoy not having to really lean up to kiss you or give you a hug
- Like yeah sure he would want to do chivalrous things like reaching something up high even if you were tall, but if you felt like that was belittling you then all you'd have to do is ask and he'd stop.
- Would definitely get secondhand annoyance if people made tall jokes
- "Yeah, yeah the weather's great up here shut up"
- Feral Dimitri may be another story, unfortunately.
- like I see a lot of fics saying even as a feral demon rat, Dimi would have a soft spot for you
- I say no, he didn't and I will die on this hill. Post-time skip, Dimitri would not treat you any differently than he does everyone else.

- We all know he grew significantly through those 5 years, but if you still rival him in height he would be threatened even more

- To have to see someone eye to eye, especially when they're trying to talk sense into him, just angered him to no end

- It would be very safe to say that he borderline hated you because of how threatened he felt by you
- Vulnerability was a no no
- BUT, once he finally kinda, chilled out for once in his goddamn life, he was okay again
- He realized that you were trying to help him, not put him down
- He could finally look you in the eyes and kiss you again without having to bend down, of course
- okok so I don't know where I went with these headcanons I just wrote what I felt dimitri would do throughout his .. story.
- But all in all like Dimitri does accept and love you no matter what
- He may not show it.. at times.. cough cough.. but really height doesn't mean much to him
- He'll love you no matter what, kay? he loves u
