Chapter 14: Second First Day at RAD and a Broken Spell

MERIELLE'S POV

     I woke up early the next day. I wore my RAD uniform, fixed my hair in a good braided low ponytail which is good, because it is simple and my hair's natural curls are visible. The thing that I like the most about my RAD uniform is the purple necktie and the knee-high boots which look so good with the uniform since the skirt is not that long. As in not that long. I wiped my eyeglasses clean and checked myself in front of the mirror. Perfect. I took my bag and checked its contents. My bag is a cute backpack. It is like, splash-painted of purple and royal blue on black leather. Lucifer convinced me to open up my door last night to give me a few things for today, including textbooks and stuff. He didn't even fail to remind me that he had to cut his meeting with Diavolo short because I was in danger yesterday with his brothers which is why I had to accompany him to the assembly hall at RAD later after school. It is about how I will be staying here and going to school safely so, I guess I won't have anything against it. 

     After making sure that I have everything I need for school, I went down to the dining hall to have some breakfast. The other demons might not like me at the moment, but at least Mammon is okay with me, and so does Lucifer... I think. I held the door handle and opened the door.

     "Good morning, everyone!" I greeted, although I am sure that only Mammon would actually notice me.

     "Good morin', Merielle!" Mammon greeted back.

     "Hurry up and eat, Merielle, or we'll be late," Lucifer told me and I sat next to Mammon.

     Lucifer got up from his seat, took his plate, and replaced my empty plate with it.

     "Isn't that yours, Lucifer?" I asked him.

     "Not anymore," Lucifer answered.

     "Then what will you have for breakfast?" I asked again.

     "I will get something at the cafeteria at RAD later," he answered, and with a strict tone, he ordered me to eat and that is what I did.

     "I have to go now," Levi said.

     "Me, too," Asmo added.

     "I'll go with," Belphie said and the rest followed him.

     All that is left at the dining table are Lucifer, Mammon, and me. I quickly finished my breakfast to get away from the awkward atmosphere.

     Soon, all three of us are finally at RAD. I have to admit that I am kind of scared, but excited at the same time. According to Lucifer, Mammon will be in charge of looking out for me for the whole day today. His class schedule is the same as mine and he will accompany me for the whole day.

     "If he tries to do anything moronic, feel free to ignore him. Just stay by his side for your safety," Lucifer said with a playful grin before we parted ways.

     "Moronic, huh?" Mammon said when Lucifer was out of earshot. "I ain't doin' anythin' moronic."

     Then, we went to our first class.

     I have to admit that the lessons here at RAD are a lot different than what it is in the human world. There are topics that are not discussed in the human world but are being discussed here. There are also some topics, like mathematics, that are being taught here. I helped Mammon a lot in there.

     I also noticed that in every class, two of the seven demon brothers are with me. First is Mammon, because he is in charge of me today, and the second will be any of his brothers. While there are some tough times, like when I got called by the teacher to stand up and recite something I don't know what, there are also some funny moments. In one class, Asmodeus was caught flirting with a witch at the back of the classroom, Levi plays his game in his D.D.D. and was confiscated and he is going to be in detention today, while Belphie was caught sleeping in class. Other than that, everything went well.
