"Good news Emily, you can ride the train this year." Remus said the day before classes were to start.

"Im excited! At least the full moon is a couple weeks away." I answered.

"Yes."

"Come on Harry, lets get a compartmemt." I stated.

"You go ahead. Im hoing to find Hermione." Harry replied.

I got one quickly and sat down and to my annoyance, I saw Ginny throwing herself at my husband.

Ginny can never take no for an answer can she? Harry groaned.

I smiled when Hermione came in. "Emily! I didnt know you'd be here!"

"Surprise!" I grinned hugging my best friend.

"It sure is, oh I have this for you and Harry." Hermione handed me a roll of parchment tied with a green ribbon.

Invitation to Slughorn's get together. When Harry came on, I saw he had the same invitation.

We went over, but the man invited Ginny too. "Emily! Dont be shy now!" Slughorn bristled.

"Im not. She is the one whom i have the restraining order against. Maybe some other time, Mr. Slughorn." I shot him a sad smile before turning to leave.

"Emily, Im coming too."

"No Harry. Dumbledore wants you to get close to him. So do that. I trust you. Its fine, really." I gave him a peck on the cheek before leaving.

"What happened?" Hermione asked when I returned.

"My sister did." I shook my head.

"Oh, Im sorry. Guess Harrys staying, huh?"

I nodded. "Dumbledores orders."

"Ah, I see."

The two of us chatted and I showed my friend some rare spells.

"How was your summer?"

"Ok. I met someone new." Hermione blushed.

"Who?"

"It was a temporary romance, no big deal." Hermione bristled.

"Hermione! Who is he?"

"A Muggle, but a very sweet one. Her name is Jenny." My friend blushed.

"Im very happy for you. I thought you prefered blokes." I shrugged.

"I like both." Hermione only blushed deeper.

"Ok then. Nothing wrong with that." I smiled.

"My parents didnt exactly like it. They think Jennys a new friend. They are happy I have friends outside of Hogwarts though." Hermione made a face.

"It never hurts to remember where you came from." I replied.

"Wait, isnt that Ginny?" Hermione asked when I saw my sister walk away.  The meeting must have ended.
