Maldives part 2 (Story by G )

SARA'S P.O.V :

It was 10 in the morning and I, as usual got up with a lazy mind and checked my phone to see if there was any important message related to any of my work appointment but there wasn't.

I freshened up went to my mom and Ibbu and wished them Good Morning.

But... they were really excited about something so I asked " what's going on guys ? You both seem really happy today"

They tried to control their excitement a bit but something was fishy.

So I wanted to question them but just then mom changed the topic by saying "Lets have breakfast you must be hungry"

We were having the breakfast when mom said, " Sara you have a week off ahead you should go for a vacation"

" Mom it's my birthday next week and even if I wish to go on a vacation I am least interested to go alone" I said.

" You should ask Kamya once if she is free" Ibrahim said.

"Ibbu, Kamya said she would be busy for few more days ahead when I talked to her last time on phone" I replied.

After breakfast I went in my room and while scrolling down my feed on Instagram I thought maybe mom was right I should go on a vacation but Kamya was not available so I decided to call Kartik.

Sara: Hi baby, how are you ?

Kartik: I was doing fine till now but then you called and I am doing more than great now

Sara: You and your cheesy dialogues. Tsch! Tsch!

Kartik: I don't find them cheesy infact they are cute I feel. Anyways what happened? Anything serious?

Sara: Can't I call you just to listen to your voice and talk?

Kartik: Baby you can but the way you are speaking I sense that you want to ask something.

" I feel so lucky to have someone like him! I just love him" I said to myself.

Meanwhile....

Kartik: Sara are you there? Baby ...

Sara: I'm here Kartik. I was just thinking, anyways today mom was saying I should go for a vacation as I have a week off. So...?

Kartik: so...

Sara: So you wanna join? Just you and me to NYC. Let's go baby please

Kartik: ( acting that he was sad ) Sara baby I would have loved to come as I too want some time with you....alone  but I have some work appointments in the coming week for which I will be out of town.

Sara: What Kartik! It means you will neither be near me on my birthday nor in the town.

Kartik: Baby it's my work and I shouldn't avoid it and you only told me once that your work should be your priority.

Sara: But Kartik.... I don't wanna talk to you
And I hung up.

I was in a bad mood just then the door bell rang. Mom opened the door and it was kamya.

" Sara, Kamya has come to meet you" mom said.

I went to the living room, Kamya was sitting on the sofa with mom.

"Sara I was thinking, how about we go to Maldives next week" Kamya said.

" But Kamya you were supposed to be busy in the coming days this was what you said to me right?" I asked in doubt.
