KARTIK'S P.O.V:

I woke up in the morning and the first thing that came to my mind was yesterday's incident and I was shamelessly smiling, recalling Sara's face when I kissed her even though she had denied out of fear of being caught.

Just then Ibrahim came and I composed myself. "Kartik, get out of the bed and go have a bath fast. Everyone's waiting for us in the dining area for breakfast" Ibrahim said.

"Everyone meaning 'everyone'?" I asked.

"Yes Kartik. Stop asking questions and go fast. Abba already called me twice." Ibrahim said, while scrolling down the phone.

I ran towards the bathroom. After a few minutes Ibrahim and I went for our breakfast.

The breakfast was finger licking good but also heavy. I wanted to go for a walk on the beach. Ibrahim and Kittu agreed to accompany and so I asked Kittu to take Sara also.

I then asked Jehan and Rahul but Rahul was planning to go swimming and Jehan had some urgent work.

Whereas Sanchita, Payal, Ayesha and Kamiya were treating themselves in a spa. So it was just four us for the walk.

We walked by the shore of the mesmerising beach for a while. Ibrahim and I were teasing our respective sisters and irritating them.

After a point Kittu and Sara got really irritated, so they stopped, looked at each other, took their slippers in their hands (all ready to run) and started running behind us. We gave up and stopped after a while and sat down laughing and admiring the beauty around.

After sometime Kittu and Ibrahim stood up and Kittu said "Guys, let's go back to the resort now. Come on, get up fast!" Sara and I looked at both of them and they understood what we wanted.

"Don't be late and don't keep us waiting for lunch, both of you" Ibrahim said and smiled.

Kittu and Ibrahim then went back to the resort. I layed down on that warm sand and Sara too rested her head on my stomach and layed down.

"Baby, close your eyes for a minute or two. Don't think anything, just process what you are feeling" Sara said.

I closed my eyes and tears rolled down my eyes automatically, after a minute or two. I opened my eyes and Sara was looking at me.

"I can understand the meaning of those tears, baby. There is something special, something unique in this silence, this peace" she said.

I sat up straight, looked at her and said, "Indeed there is something special. We live in an environment where we hardly get time for ourselves and this one minute just made me channelise those feelings that got hid because of the noise outside." She kept her hand on mine assuring me that she understood what I was saying and feeling.

"Let's get going!!" She said and stood up.

We were walking close by the water when we saw a small turtle struggling to enter the sea. We went near him.

"This turtle is so adorable, but I guess he is finding it hard to return to the sea, what should we do baby?" I said.

"Kartik, do one thing lift this turtle along with some sand and then release him in the water" Sara suggested.

I did as she said and safely helped that sweet, little turtle return back to sea. "He was so sweet! Now let's go back to the resort" I said and started walking towards the resort but Sara just stood there.

SARA'S P.O.V:

I just stood there looking at him,his smile. "Kartik, come here" I said.

He looked back at me, clueless of what's happening and came near me.

"Kartik, I have so much to say about you, about us and I want to but I don't know why every time I feel like saying it this confident, bossy Sara doesn't seem to find those apt words cause maybe words can't express my feelings for you. You are the most magical and special thing that happened to me. I have always said this and I am going to say this yet again that I am glad you came into this world but I am even more glad that you came into my world. I don't know what's going to happen in life tomorrow in terms of everything and anything but one thing that I have realised over this course of time is that I couldn't have imagined my life with someone other than you. I LOVE YOU!" I said, hugging him tightly.

He broke the hug, cupped my face in his warm hands and kissed me. "You don't have to express your feelings for me cause every time I look into these brown eyes, they express it all and trust me, it's more beautiful than you saying it to me" he said, breaking the kiss. "I think we should go back to the resort ASAP.

This 'silence' and 'peace' is causing you dangerous mood swings." He said, teasing me for all the philosophical lectures I gave him some time back.

"I really meant it, okay" I said, crossing arms around the chest and giving him that's-so-mean look.

"Okay, I was kidding, I am sorry. Let's go" he said, laughing. We then went back to the resort.

(TIME SKIP) (IN THE EVENING) (The pictures of their outfits is right above the title of this chapter)

Everyone got ready for the sangeet. I was wearing a red lehenga and Kartik wore a red bandhgala. The opening performance for the sangeet was the traditional folk dance of Fiji, organised specially by the resort.

After a couple of other performances it was time for Ibbu, Kittu and the gang's performances. They opted for a mashup of "Yeh ladki haye allah" and "Gallan Goodiyaan" and they truly brought some adrenaline and josh in the celebrations.

At the end it was finally the bride and groom's turn i.e me and Kartik. I was happy until the moment the host announced our names.

I was feeling very nervous when I was standing backstage, I looked at Kartik who was standing on the other side. He looked at me and gestured to me to take a deep breath and calm down.  "Main Agar Kahoon" started playing. The instrumental starting of the song helped me calm a bit. I went on stage with Kartik, looked into his eyes and the only thing I could see was that globe from 'om shanti om' with me and Kartik in it, it felt so MAGICAL and I just went with the flow.

After that the only thing I remember was that the song stopped and I could hear everyone applause and whistle. I was blushing so much that my face and the colour of my lehenga hardly had any difference. After the sangeet, I was really tired and dozed off to sleep as early as possible cause I had to wake up the next day for the HALDI CEREMONY!!
