Kakashi was frozen in place, he was terrified of what she would say if he let her in. This was all too familiar territory and he didn't like it at all. She seemed nervous, scared even, and he didn't know what to do. He stepped away and let her in as she did he slid his mask down. She took in the sight of his apartment and found it decorated similar to his before all of this death and destruction.

Her heart thudded in her chest and she knew he could hear it in the silence between them. He could likely see the sweat that slid down her neck. He definitely smelt her desire rolling off of her as her core burned with need and her body ached to be filled by him. She sighed and turned around, only to find her breath hitch when she saw him without his masks, wearing his emotions like a sign.

Kakashi approached her slowly unsure of what to do or say. She was dressed in her new attire and while her stomach was covered these days, he still couldn't help but let his eyes dance across her body. She pulled her flak off and her hitai-ate and sat them on the island in the kitchen after she walked away from the approaching man. But now she was cornered. When she turned around he stood directly behind her.

Kakashi reaches forward and placed his hands on either side of her, gripping the island, and boxing her in. Kakashi leaned in lazily and moved his mouth to her ear and she shuttered at the feeling of his breath on her neck. He tilted his head and ghosted his lips across her flesh before finally planting a kiss just above her shirt. Y/n was frozen in place, unable to find the courage to do what she needed.

"You're leaving me again, aren't you?" Kakashi knew. He knew the only reason she would come to him like this was to tell him goodbye. He supposed there could be other things, but he doubted it.

"Y-yes," her voice quivered and he drew back to stare at her, his body hunched so he was eye level.

"You can't," he'd beg this time, he'd plead, he'd kick and scream if he had to. He'd do whatever he had to.

"I must," she answered quietly. "Suna has requested my help."

"Suna?" He repeated the one-word question.

"ANBU training," Y/n lifted a hand cautiously, wanting to do something she hasn't done in three years.

Kakashi snatched her hand and held it tightly, "How long?"

"A year," his face fell at her answer but he didn't move.

Kakashi glanced at her hand a moment before looking back to those perfect e/c eyes. He let her hand go and put his on her hip. He held her stare as he spoke in a soft and hushed tone. "If you're going to do that, then you're mine," he saw her open her mouth to protest, "just for tonight."

Y/n dropped her hand with a thud against her thigh, "What?"

Kakashi's other hand went to the nape of her neck and he gripped it tightly. His body was pressed to her and she didn't know what to do. "None of this rushed quickie against wall bullshit," Y/n actually blushed and he couldn't help but chuckle at seeing her flustered. "You will let me do as I wish to your body," his fingers tensed and released slightly, "I will say what I want," her eyes were fixated on those dark orbs, unable to look away, "and you will show me the emotions you've locked away from me for ten years now."

She gulped, visibly, and all she could do was nod slowly in response. He was mad, in the sense of being upset and angry, but also insane, crazy, and delusional. But so was she, wasn't she? To pretend that this could keep going, knowing she was requested to go to Suna, and that she would likely do it too. She kept letting him back in though, in her life, in her 'bed' and in her heart. Then, she'd shut him out, as if he was never there.
