Nova smiled when she saw the sign at her dream class.

' SS3 Kings  and Queens ',but the Kings was cancelled.

She pushed the door further as eyes turned to her. They were whispering in hushed tones.

" Who's she? ".

" Wrong class ".

" She's beautiful ".

" Introduce yourself ". Another said.

" Hold up guys....". A guy walked to her," Welcome to SS3 Kings and Queens,the kings was cancelled because the girls can be possessive,am David the class rep ". He said.

" Nova Tamara ". She said bringing out her hand for him to shake.

" Oh....pick a seat ". David chuckled,he felt she was easygoing.

She sighted a dusty seat near the window,she walked to the seat.

" Wow so dusty ".  She muttered as the whole class stared at her.

" Uh...sorry you can't sit there ". A voice said as she turned to the chubby thick girl at the back who had a badge on her right breast that says,' Assistant Head girl '.

" Why? ". Nova smirked.

" No one can sit there ". She said.

" Yikes,sorry but the chair is not broken neither is it occupied ". Nova smiled bringing out a tissue to clean it.

" Am Nova Tamara by the way ". Nova turned to her.

Bethlehem ignored her and walked back to her seat.

The door opened as a slim girl entered inside,her head was bowed low as her lookalike entered with her,they could be twins,the girl was so pretty.

" Love your hair ". Nova commented to the girl as she turned to Nova and gave a tight smile before pausing as she stared at the seat.

" Am Nova Tamara  ".

" Antonia ". The pretty girl replied as her lookalike turned to me.

" Her handsome twin brother, Anthony ".  He said as Nova smiled.

" Nice to meet you ". Nova settled down as she dropped her bag on the empty desk at her back.

A light skinned thick girl walked inside,her lips were bright pink,she walked in along with a dark girl as they held hands.

" Okay....Settle down ".  A middle aged man walked inside as the class noise eased down.

" I heard we have a new student in our midst,quietly introduce yourself ". He said as Nova stood up.

" Am Nova Tamara ".  She smiled as the door opened and a biracial boy walked in,his hair was kind of curly and a little bit damp,he strolled inside class like he owned it. Nova admired him,he must be a morale kid.

" Zion...don't stroll into my class like that next time ". The man said.

He ignored him and walked to his seat which was at the back of her as he dropped her bag on her chair.

" Okay sit down Nora ".

" It's Nova ". She muttered to herself and sat down,unknown to her Antonia chuckled.

" Okay....Class,quick question from Literature ". The teacher said. "Definition of Litote? ".

A girl at the front in pink braids stood up.

" Litote is an ironic figure of speech whereby something is stated by denying its opposite,particularly the.
...... ".

" Thank you Brianna...thank you. I wonder if you all read ". He said as he entered the days topic.

Today being Monday was occupied by teachers,even stealing other people period claiming they were in their final years and needed more time with the students.

Nova yawned as soon as the last teacher left.

" Please let me have your note,how do you guys cope? ". Nova told Antonia.

Antonia smiled passing her note to her.

" SS3 is always hectic ".  Anthony said.

" For real! ". Nova rolled her eyes as they smiled.

Shantelle and Diane along with Blaze sat together.

" Why would she transfer ?,it's fishy ".Diane said.

" What's her name? ". Blaze asked.

" Nova ". Shantelle replied.

" You mean Nora? ". Diane said.

" Why are you acting like Mr.Lanre ,
People are named Nova ". Shantelle rolled her eyes.

" She has a free spirit ". Blaze said.

" Of all the empty seats...Why hers? ". Amy asked Bethlehem and Paul.

" It's weird...Like we all know everyone has been scared to mention Shirley or even take her seat but she didn't mind ". Paul said.

" She doesn't know...If she did...She won't sit there ". Beth said.

" Why? ". Nova walked in their midst backing her bag.

" Uh....nothing ". Paul said.

" You look cute when trying to hide something,I didn't mean to butt in your conversation....I came for you ".  She pointed at Beth.

" Me...why? ". Beth looked at Amy and Paul.

" Am in class ".  Paul and Amy left.

" I came to tell you that I didn't mean to maybe take your lover seat or something....We were supposed to be best of friends,I mean the lady in the admission office wanted to call you to guide me but I was doing fine ".

" Okay...take a deep breath....It's not my lovers seat or whatever you say and who told you we are supposed to be best of friends....You just came here and I personally told you not to stay on that chair for personal reasons and you just ignored it ".

" Okay....am sorry,I'll move ". Nova said.

" No.....it's fine ".

" I was expecting that...so friends? ". Nova brought out her hand as Beth smiled.

" Friends ". Beth hooked her hand.

" Who was that cute guy and that girl with you? ".

" Paul my best friend and Amy ". Beth said.

" Nova ". Allen walked as Nova smiled.

" Allen meet a new friend,Beth ".

" Hi....come on let's go.... ". He said as Zion mistakenly pushed Nova as she staggered.

" Sorry ".  He muttered and walked away.

Allen scowled,for some odd reasons they looked familiar to him,their uniform.

" See you  ". Nova waved to Beth and left.

" Heyyyyy......What did she say? ".Paul and Amy walked back to Beth.

" She wanted to be friends,She's a nice person ".

" Who was the guy that came with her? ". Amy asked.

" Her brother ". Beth replied.

" He looked familiar ".  Paul said.

" I know right...I've seen him somewhere also ".  Beth said.

" From where? ". Amy asked.

" I can't remember but I will remember another day ". Paul sighed.

" When you do,let me know ". Amy said as they watched their retreating figure.
