I sat on the couch at home waiting for Bella knowing she had big news. She opened the door, Edward following behind her. "Dad?" She calls the nerves present, the shining ring making it obvious. I smiled at them as Dad barreled down the hallway. "We have something to tell you," You could see the thoughts rushing through his head as he thought about what the news was. "You might want to sit down," Dad takes a conscious seat down.
"Mr. Swan..." Edward starts for a vampire who'd just defeated a redheaded vampire that'd been terrorizing us for months he looked terrified. I smiled enjoying this.
"We're getting married!" Bella blurts before Edward could break the news gently. Dad sat as still as a statue for a moment before he stood yelling profanities at the news. I couldn't help myself as I cracked up covering my mouth.
"Both my daughters, married before 20, where'd I go wrong!" I'd caught as he got paler. Bella rushed getting him a glass of water. Dad yelled for a little longer shock taking effect. Bella was beet red and Edward looked like he'd spoiled his pants for the first time in 100 years. Dad sat down his yelling finally over.
"Well... On the bright side, we aren't pregnant," I said, that started dad up again. I laughed quietly knowing everything was perfect. We were alive to be yelled at which meant, I was happy.
