Chapter 30: Side of surrender

Darcy was able to join the rest of the team with Diablo, but purposely not bringing in Xavier yet to meet the others.  "Guys I'm sure everyone knows what Andrea told me?" Asked Darcy.  "Yeah Darko is one stubborn dark ego" added Jack.  "But he's all Remus has left besides himself so we take down both of them we're home free" stated Safiya.  Nikita sighed and looked at everyone determined before saying "the problem is since Darko can be in any technology hence why he was able to control Negastatic they can easily take down all of you and myself before getting the rest of the school".  Darcy shook her head a bit.  "Actually Ms Dragun that's another thing I want to bring up" added Darcy.  "We have a professional who can hack the hacker and put Remus on the edge of his seat... I just discovered it today". 

"We do?" Asked the group.  "Come in Xavier" added Darcy.  The group was suddenly stunned when a masked male that looked like Will entered who was grey skinned, had messy black hair, and was dressed all in black with a special designed jacket except the white strips of cloth around his chest.  "Xavier!" Exclaimed Jess excited before she suddenly was hugging him.  "Holy shit..." Added JP  finally breaking the silence.  Xavier hugged jess looking at the group.  "He isn't wanting to talk currently because he whispered to me he wants to save that for the big performance" added Darcy.  Jess giggled a bit saying "that's because behind the screen he's able to be feared" she added. 

"Jigsaw" added Matt getting the idea.  Nikita looked interested.  "We work the front line, Darcy have you, Xavier and Diablo work the back?" She asked.  "Can Xavier have access to the computer system?" Asked Jess before Darcy could speak.   "Help him out with that" added Nikita to Andrea R.  Andrea r assisted getting Xavier in position who suddenly was able to break into the system of shadowsteel.  The rest of the team broke into the base before running to the main room where Remus and Darko were.  "Course Darko is still up" added Shane. 

The duo immediately looked at the group.  "Finally fight on Shadowsteel home territory" added Remus.  "Not new for us" added Alexia.  "But we have a plan for this that we challenge you on" added Aaron.  "YOU'RE challenging us?" Asked Remus dramatically.  Both suddenly heard the computer screens go crazy and turned to see the logo of this odd face appear.  "n̸o̸, i̸t̸ c̸a̸n̸'t̸ b̸e̸!" Exclaimed Darko.  The screen was suddenly replaced by a darkened room and the figure of Xavier Rotom sitting in a chair in the front so he was close to the camera. 

"ႩეႠႮႩllჄ i Ⴉო ႠႬპ ტႶპ ეႬႩllპႶႺiႶႺ ჄტႮ, ႠႬპჄ Ⴉll ႩRპ ႠႬპRპ ტႶ ოჄ ႪპႬႩlf RპოႮႽ ႽႩႶმპRႽ" a deep, autotuned digital voice said from Xavier.  "a̸h̸ x̸a̸v̸i̸e̸r̸!" Exclaimed Darko now freaked out.  Remus was stunned confused due to never seeing this persona before.  "ႶტRოႩllჄ i wტႮlმ ႲiႠ პVპRჄტႶპ iႶႠტ ႺႩოპႽ ტf მპႩმlჄ ႽტliႠႩiRპ ႪႮႠ fტR ႠႬiႽ Ⴖტ ტႶპ ႶპპმႽ Ⴉ ეტႮႲlპ მპეks ႪႮႠ ოპ, ႺპႠ ჄტႮRႽპlf Ⴝტოპ ოiႶiტႶႽ wiႠႬ ეტwႩRმlჄ მႩRkტ, i'ო ოႩkiႶႺ ႠႬiႽ ႪჄ ოჄ RႮlპႽ" stated Xavier.  Remus crossed his arms smirking.  "Ha! Like I'd listen to you!" He declared.  "y̸o̸u̸ w̸a̸n̸t̸ h̸i̸m̸ t̸o̸ m̸u̸r̸d̸e̸r̸ t̸h̸o̸m̸a̸s̸ s̸a̸n̸d̸e̸r̸s̸ s̸o̸ y̸o̸u̸ a̸n̸d̸ t̸h̸e̸ o̸t̸h̸e̸r̸ s̸i̸d̸e̸s̸ d̸o̸n̸'t̸ e̸x̸i̸s̸t̸?!" Exclaimed Darko scared.  Remus froze suddenly hearing that and considering those words. 

"I'll take my goody two shoes neat freak twin brother to be dead but I would rather keep torturing him and the others so poopy on you jigsaw wannabe!" Added Remus frowning.  "i̸'l̸l̸ s̸p̸e̸a̸k̸ f̸o̸r̸ h̸i̸m̸ y̸o̸u̸'r̸e̸ w̸a̸n̸t̸i̸n̸g̸ a̸ b̸a̸t̸t̸l̸e̸ w̸h̸e̸r̸e̸ y̸o̸u̸ d̸e̸c̸i̸d̸e̸ w̸h̸o̸ t̸a̸k̸e̸s̸ t̸h̸e̸ d̸e̸a̸r̸t̸h̸ a̸n̸d̸ d̸e̸f̸e̸a̸t̸ b̸e̸t̸w̸e̸e̸n̸ u̸s̸ a̸l̸l̸ f̸i̸n̸e̸ w̸e̸'l̸l̸ d̸o̸ i̸t̸" added Darko before he summoned animatronics to even the score.  The digimax team smirked taking their suits of cards symbol as they saw paths appear to different enemies that linked each symbol.   "ႩႶმ Ⴖტw i'll ეტႶႠRტl ႠႬპ ႺႩოპ" added Xavier.  "I hope this works" whispered Jpwarlock.  Taking the battle in Xavier's style it was the perfect even field while Xavier was using two decks of cards to create full lines.   On finishing a stack of spades Aaron and Preston nodded to each other and combined attacks.  Natemare, Rainbowdawson, Jpwarlock, and Hartattack took out their two minions with ease and delivered damage on Remus and Darko. 

However the enemy side got blows in as well causing members to get injured or bruised.  In a final stand Anika gasped seeing she was the only one still in play with Matpatman and Lunabeautyknight.  Remus and a damaged Darko facing her both ready to strike.  Xavier chuckled a bit on the screen.  "ႽტRRჄ... ႪႮႠ ჄტႮ'Rპ ტႮႠ ტf ႲlႩჄპRႽ ႩႽ i ეႩRRჄ Ⴉ ႠRႮოႲ ოტVპ" he said.  "You disgusting son of a bitch!" Yelled Remus.  "fႮႶႶჄ, lႩႽႠ i ეႬპეkპმ i'ო ႶტႠ Ⴉ ოiRRტR" added Xavier.  He suddenly tossed a joker on the field before Anika felt an energy surge with a few blue sparks coming off her. 

Matpatman, Lunarbeautyknight, and Darko all recognized it.  "You're... Still linked?!" Exclaimed Remus.  Anika slowly looked at them one eye glowing electric blue and the lighting marks appearing below her eye and down the body under her outfit.  "You... Will.. P͛a͛y͛.. F͛o͛r͛ c͛o͛n͛t͛r͛o͛l͛l͛i͛n͛g͛ m͛e͛!" She suddenly exclaimed sounding like a mix of herself and Negastatic.  The trio suddenly blasted Remus and Darko defeating them.  Xavier sealed everything off teleporting the group with Remus and Darko into the base.  Anika held her head as she seemed to be back to normal.  "We got them?" She asked. 

"You, Matt, Manny and Xavier delivered the finishing blow" added Alexia excited.  "With an extra hand from Negastatic" added Jp.  Anika was stunned a bit.  "Nega..." She murmured.  

(A/n: Defeat and victory!  But my own twist!  Xavier as the boss to finish.  And a hinted consequence to Anika using her fusion skill with an unfinished wristband.  It's soon to end!  But time to also note I have made more digimax plans.  Anyway hope you all enjoy).
