Sunghee's View

"Is everyone ready?" I heard Yeeun's calm voice coming through my earpiece.

I checked the positions of my other three partners one last time, as well as those of the NCT and SVT members. Soyeon hid in one of the higher stacked containers, right next to the wide area where the van was standing.
Olivia, on the other hand, had our getaway car ready and Yeeun was backing Soyeon from a safe distance.

Neither NCT nor SVT was aware that all three gangs were facing each other at that particular moment.

Instead, they were only aware of their own presence, which is why we were able to enter the place without much difficulty while they were shooting bullets at each other like some mad men.

"Everyone is in their places," I confirmed as I looked through the sight of my sniper rifle.

Compared to the others, the greatest distance was between me and the area of confrontation - I was lying attentively on the highest piled container, watching the entire harbor from above, with a little smile on my lips.

It had been a long time since I was allowed to use my baby, so the whole situation was quite amusing and thrilling.
I actually don't remember when I have learned to use it, but it's definitely been more than a year.

"What's the situation," Soyeon asked, and I could see she already had two smoke bombs in her hands.

"Vernon and Joshua are still shooting in their direction, but Jeonghan and Hoshi seem to be injured. It looks like Mingyu is taking care of their wounds."

I looked further through the sight of my weapon and turned my attention to NCT.

"Doyoung is also injured, Taeyong and Jaeyhyun keep on shooting, but that shouldn't be a big problem. I think you can set off the smoke bombs now and-"

My voice faltered when I saw a male figure running in the corner of my eye.

"What the hell," I murmured in surprise and pointed the barrel of my gun straight at him.

Startled, my lips parted a bit when I could identify the person as my beloved classmate, Lee fucking Donghyuck.

I didn't think they would suddenly call for reinforcements for such a simple mission. And even if, I assumed we'd me quick enough before any other members could join.

"Sunghee, you have to stop him!" I heard Soyeon's loud voice through my earpiece and I automatically knew that the boy was not allowed to get close to Taeyong.

The more enemies, the more our plan was endangered.

"No casualties," Yeeun reminded me and I swallowed tense.

Shooting someone from my distance wasn't the slightest problem whether he was running or not.

The difficulty was not to shoot the person.

I closed my eyes for a short moment and took a deep breath before looking back into the visor of my rifle.
Donghyuck had already covered half of the distance when I tried to aim at the spot right before his next step.

Without hesitating I pulled the trigger and waited.

For a brief moment the blood in my veins froze to ice as I thought I had accidentally shot the student who now hit the ground hard and tumbled several meters further. Fortunately for me he seemed to be unwounded and I breathed a sigh of relief.

If he were dead, Yeeun would probably have shot me in each of my joints and left me to bleed to death.

There was only one rule in DRGNS - we don't kill people.

Other haben that we had all the freedom we could wish for, even if we were causing physical pain to others.
Killing was a big taboo for us.

Sure, to others it seemed strange, just because we didn't kill people didn't automatically make us better, but in most cases our violence was limited to the members of NCT and SVT.

Now and then, however, we also had cases of men who tried to sexually harass or rape other girls or women.
For such reasons, we had several cameras throughout the city and on occasional days we walked through the more remote areas at night to prevent such events.

It was our way of taking care of the citizens and we gave it our all.

"Taeyong ordered him to back off," Soyeon informed me and brought me back to reality.

"Good, otherwise the boy would have probably lost one of his toes," I murmured tensely.

My eyes didn't leave Donghyuck's back for a second and I watched him get up on all fours instead.

To be on the safe side, I fired another bullet that hit the ground just in front of his hands, causing him to fall backwards in dismay.

I really thought he would turn around and disappear, but as usual the universe worked against my will.

Before realizing it, he abruptly pulled himself up and started dashing into the direction of his own gang members.
An unpleasent sensation rushed through my body as I saw the determined look on his face.

"Do something!" Soyeon shouted into my ear as I shot at the ground around him several times.

"It's not that easy if I can't hit that fucking asshole!" I hissed back angrily and aimed the rifle a little closer to his body.

As soon as I pulled the trigger, I noticed shortly afterwards how my bullet grazed his shoulder, cutting the material of his dark clothing.
But he didn't let this affect him either and ran further and further in Taeyong's direction, as if he was chased by the devil himself.

"Son of a bitch!" I cursed when he reached his mates and I lost sight of him behind the container.

Anger and frustration boiled up in my whole body, threatening to explode at any moment.

"Change of plan", our leader now said furiously.

"Soyeon you'll light the smoke bombs immediately, we can't waste any more time!
And Sunghee, if there's no other possibility, you have my permission to shoot them."

So this was just a lil change of the view
