Two updates in one day because I'm feeling inspired. Enjoy.
Klaus' POV
I break the last insect's neck feeling satisfied with my work. I smile but not before being slammed into the wall. A hand is tight around my throat.
"Missed me?"
"Hello love." I smile adoringly at my wife. She just gets better with time. "You look exquisite by the way." I compliment her as she proceeds to clean up the mess I've made.

"Flattery will get you nowhere Mr. Mikaelson."
"What's with the formalities darling. I thought we were way past that." I tease her and she laughs. Oh, how much I love the sound of her laughs.
"This is not the time Nik." She stands up and looks at me. I never get tired of seeing her. We've only been in the same vicinity a handle full of times not being able to stay away from each other.
"Why are you here Sofia?" I stand up and walk toward my wife. "We both know the risk."
"Some of us do." She snaps at me. "You've been spending more time with Elijah."
"I would much rather spend time with you, my love." I try to flirt but she's not having any of it.
"I got a phone call."
"Ahh. So you've come to see your darling husband on the request of Hayley."
"No actually Rebekah." She corrects me. "I was the only one on this side of the world so..."
"Enjoying your backpacking through every continent."
"Research. I've been gathering everything I can to know how to defeat The Hollow. I've gotten close to but...it's all taken me a dead end." She explains to me and I still keep silent. "You want to explain to me why you've been avoiding the kids?" I keep silent and I knew this would set her off. I expected things to go flying around us but nothing. "Why are you avoiding them? Our kids are amazing. They are smart and full of life and...maybe too smart for their own good. Like the..."
"Like their father." I say at the same time as her.
"Hope and Henry hear the same rumors we all have the past five years, that you have gone completely mad."
"As you see." I motion to the dead bodies.
"But I know you better than anyone. You're still the man I love even if I'm mad at you for avoiding our children." She scolds me but hearing that she loves me always makes me happy. "You know two men form the family who owns this building were killed at a nightclub yesterday by an alleged maniac." I smirk at my wife and she does not find it amusing. "And here lie more bodies. Care to explain to your loving wife why you're methodically picking off all the members of one family?"
