"You want him to do what?" Y/n deadpanned as she stared at Lloyd, who frankly, looked terrified at what Wu just told him to do.
"In order to bear the fate of Ninjago on your shoulders...you must first learn to bear the weight of all of us." Wu finished rather lamely, looking down to Lloyd who groaned and proceeded to get into a headstand.
One by one, the ninja climbed up and created a tower, Wu was at the top drinking tea after roughly ten minutes of them trying to figure out how to stack themselves on one another without falling. Alas, despite the gruelling time it took in the construction of the human tower, Lloyd was still struggling to stay balanced.
"Focus." Wu said, as though it was normal to get a 10 year old to hold the accumulative weight of a small whale with his hands and body. The rest of the group looked up at him nervously, not quite trusting the exercise that their Sensei had bestowed on the young boy.
"Sensei, I'm starting to think this was a bad idea..." Jay mumbled, his voice shaking as he tried his best to avoid looking down, gulping as he saw the ground moving in his peripheral vision.
Cole nodded, looking up, "Yeah, Sensei, he's just a kid."
"He looks constipated...no offense." Y/n looked to her friend who was more focused on not breaking his arms.
Wu chuckled lightly as he sipped his tea once more, "In order for him to succeed, we must all trust one another"
Y/n sighed and got onto her knees in front of the tower, gently placing her hands on Lloyd's face and letting a gentle flow of her life aura surround her hands, absorbing itself into her friend, "Don't focus on the weight, focus on finding your balance okay?" She murmured, as he strained to open his eyes.
Lloyd nodded his head and breathed deeply, shifting a little before balancing on one hand, opening his eyes and smiling weakly at Y/n, who gave him a thumbs up before she stood up and gulped as she was told to climb on up as well. She lifted a foot up slowly before stopping and walking to the side to grab a step ladder.
"Sorry, I'm not taking any chances" The h/c haired girl said bluntly as Kai put an arm out for her to use as a platform, before she scampered up frantically, noticing how the tower wavered. As she took her place on Wu's shoulders, she looked down nervously,
"You okay down there?"
"Yeah, didn't feel a thing" Lloyd responded, his free hand sticking out to give her a thumbs up, as Y/n sweatdropped, knowing that was a lie as she felt his erratic heartbeat within her own chest.
Y/n's eyes drifted to the window as she started to hear the sounds of machinery whirring. Then before she could process it, a wrecking ball slammed into the wall, making everyone fall and land on the ground harshly. Unfortunately, Y/n's life was never that simple, and since she was so close to the ceiling, she ended up hanging to the lampshade that hung from there, so that she didn't end up hitting the floor...and probably breaking a bone...or two.
