Whikst trailing aimlessly at the shore, the group consisting of the ninja, Wu and Misako find Dr. Julien on the Endless Sea's shore. He was running as fast he could to them, which was more of a stumble more than anything else.
"What was that sound? The horns?" He asked with an alarmed expresssion, his face morphing into worry as he took note of everyone's dull expressions.
Wu sighed, "The Celestial Clock has reached zero. Garmadon's ultimate weapon is now operational and the Final Battle between good and evil has all but begun"
Misako nodded, her hand on Lloyd's shoulder, "Now Lloyd must face his father, with Y/n by his side"
The old inventor nodded, but then squinted as if he had just noticed something strange, looking over the group, his eyes narrowed even more as he looked at them all, "But where's Nya?"
"She's been taken by the Overlord", Wu explained, everyone else staying quiet, "but we'll get her back. At the moment, there are bigger things at stake, including all of Ninjago itself"
Jay groaned, "Who cares about Ninjago? Nya was my—uh, my...you know"
"The love of your life" Y/n hollered from behind him, now having her strength completely regained, and her skin coloured once more.
"Yeah, exactly that!"
Kai put a hand on his shoulder, a determined look in his face, "And she's my sister. I know her being captured is tough, but she's tougher. Tougher than most of us. We'll see her again"
"Lloyd," Wu turned around to look at Lloud, " your focus gives strength to invoking the power of the Golden Dragon. You cannot lose faith now. Everything rests on your shoulders"
Lloyd sighed and looked at Wu hesitantly, his eyes flickering towards Y/n, "But Sensei, you saw what happened when I tried to face my father. I-I froze. I can't fight him". He took a deep breath and looked over to Y/n, who locked eyes with him, confusion was made apparent from the look she gave him.
"And because I hesitated Y/n thought she needed to give me more power...the rebound almost hurt her"
Wu's stern face softened for a moment, and his eyes glazed over with an unspoken sadness. However he shook his head and put his stern expression back on, squeezing Lloyd's shoulder. "You must. It is written in the scrolls".
Misako's gaze softened too, and she looked to Y/n who clutched her arm and looked at the ground. The three of them knew the fate she were to endure, but the others did not, and that is what made everything harder for those who knew. Shaking off any unwanted thoughts, Misako nodded to agree with Wu, "Remember, your father is just as scared"
