| He's finally back |

After the successful blind date, I went home with a very messy head and tangled thoughts.

My feelings weren't completely erased, it was all him, the memories were filled of his existence.

It's just hard, yes it's been eight years but it's hard.

You don't know how much restraint I've put myself over the years. I've been restraining myself, restraining to get the happy ever after I could have.

I've got troubles like everyone else have. My mother opposed my job and is dissapointed with me, I can't seem to relax and is always strained at every thing that doesn't go on my way and I still can't forget him.

I shook myself and tried to calm the storm in my head. I don't need it now, perhaps it'll cure itself but for now, I need some shower.

And perhaps some food, oh yes, food.

After a hot shower filled with relaxation music, my nerves had already calmed and the upcoming headache has put itself on a pedestal. Thank goodness for that.

"Feng Mian! Dinner's ready!" My father called me up as soon as I finished combing my hair.

As soon as I got down, my brother's hawk like eyes followed me. I couldn't help but glare at his obvious stare.

"What?" I mouthed off at him as he sat on the dining table.

"How's your blind date?"

Of course, the topic itself brought my family's eyes on me. I couldn't help but fidget on my seat while casting a silent curse on my brother.

This stupid brother of mine! I wasn't ready to talk about this! Maybe tomorrow but not now!

"It was good" I cleared my throat before saying that.

"Aiya, this meimei of mine has finally tasted love for the first time" he said with a tint of teasing and mocking.

I wanted to claw his eyes out. If it weren't for his playboy ways I wouldn't be this angry at men!

"He's good gege" I smiled with my teeth showing, as if baring my fangs at him, figuratively.

"Oh, then did you ask how much is his monthly salary, does he have a car and an apartment and does he ha-"

"Gege! I'm attending a blind date not a marriage discussion!"I gritted my teeth while he sipped on his glass with a knowing smirk.

This stupid brother! I really ought to-

"Okay, enough of that. Is he good to you though?" My father asked with a concern look on his eyes.

Marriage has been a problem in today's society. It's becoming more materialistic, always asking for the man's wealth and not asking the spouse's happiness.

Blind dates are very often and it's a very sad thing to see people getting forced on it. It should be on their own accord but securing a marriage is like achieving great pilial piety.

"He is dad, he's actually a surgeon and is two years older than me. He's really well mannered and serious though he's a bit shy" I said with a smile making my father's eyes lit up in delight.

"Hao, hao!" He said with obvious joy spreading on his eyes while my brother grumbled on the corner.

I turned to look at my mother whose eating silently, I wanted her advice and guidance but it seems like she's not going to say anything.

"Hao" she muttered under her breath.

My downcast eyes lift up as a smile replaced my earlier frown. Smiling foolishly, I ate another cup of rice and hoped that what I choose was right.

I'll tell Liu Ying everything, maybe after the two finishes their trip.

...

In another's house or should we say mansion lived a very bright and jovial girl. She was waiting for someone as she crans her neck everytime she heard a car running past their house.

If it was another day, her father would have told her to eat now or the food will go cold but today, his son was coming home.

It's been a long time since he came home and it's been years since he decided to move out and live alone.

"Liang, don't fret too much, I think he's just late due to traffic" a woman who looks like she's just in her forties said.

Her looks were very well maintained. She looks like one of those furen back in the days. She's refined and elegant without losing that charm in her eyes.

"I'm just worried about that brat! He hasn't come here for months! How unfilial! Telling me that he's going to come here every month, Pei!" The man roared as he released his anger on his wife.

He's the exact copy of his son, eyes that we're filled with alluring eyes that can hook one's soul after seeing it. Even if the man itself was already aged, he still looks robust and not once has he looked like an old man.

These two are named Hao Ru Liang and Fu Ning Shu, the father and step mother of the man they're waiting for.

"He's here! Papa gege's here!"

The little princess of the Hao family has been jittery the moment she told the two of them that she texted her brother to come home and he agreed. To their least expectation, he agreed at her sister's invitation.

It was simply a bolt in the sky.

"Gege!"

Hao Shu Jian run towards a tall figure and immediately dive to his embrace. She wasn't abashed at the attention she got and was floating in the sky after she saw her favorite elder brother.

"Xiao Jian, you've gotten pretty big huh?"

His eyes were filled with mirth, the golden rimless glasses were nowhere to be found. His face was like wine, as it aged it will become more exquisite in nature.

He had finally grown in all levels, his eyes hid a long history of experiences, lips pressed in a very professional smile that was trained for years and a very mature aura has been added on his whole physique.

"You're finally here you unfilial brat!"

His doting eyes left his sister's frame and went to his father's sunken face. He smirked like one of those bad boys he portrayed in movies.

"Why are you angry again old man"

That burst his father's thin patience and immediately point his trembling fingers and shouted at him.

The whole mansion shook at their master's roar but it has always happened. It seems like the young master was brought to life to annoy his father.
