Chapter 25

After I agreed to be his girlfriend, we went to his house and settled for a delivery. We sat on the couch and held hands, his other hand continuously twirl my hair as I leaned on his chest.

He was careful all the time, all the way to his house, he never let his hands off of mine, he was always holding it even now.

He sighed as he tilted my chin in one hand before muttering.

"Am I dreaming? I think I need a pinch to- Ow! That hurts, yep, not a dream"

I smiled innocently at him after pinching his arm then continued to snuggle on his embrace.

Three months of not seeing each other, three months of no physical touch and three months filled of doubt and fear has finally ended.

I took a peek on his side, his side profile is just too much for me to handle. Sharp jaw line and a distinct adams apple. His eyebrows are like swords, face bare with pores and long elongated lashes like that of a butterfly's wings framing his phoenix eyes.

His face truly outshine the moon and put the flowers to shame.

"Hm, did I finally seduced Feng-er? Have you become smitten on my looks?" His lips quirk up as he looked at me with those hooded eyes.

I gulped in nervousness and shyly avoid his eyes. He didn't waste any second and leaned in for a kiss which I returned.

It's like fire and ice has met, molding into something that no one has ever seen before. Lips ceasing together as they create their own rhythm making the stars in the night blushed in shame.

"Ming Chen"

"My Feng-er, my precious Feng-er"

Then he kissed me again with such fervor I could feel the heat emanating from his figure as he held me. We fit like pieces of a puzzle, so perfect and real.

"I really, really love you" he whispered as he kissed my cheeks then down to my lips before softly skimming his soft lips towards my neck.

I groaned in silence, I feel hot, overly hot at this sensation he's giving me. His hands weren't idle as he enclasped his hands on mine while the other were softly caressing my waist.

He kissed the area between my shoulder and neck before softly nipping on it. I can only closed my eyes in bashfulness as he did that thrice.

Before I knew it, we were already laying into the couch. My back against it as he stayed above me, like a beast preying on its prey.

"We got to stop or else I won't be merciful even if you cry"

His hot breath fanned my neck as I registered his words and feel the heat creeping up on my cheeks.

"Help me get up" I whispered softly as he helped me up and arranged my hair before pecking me on my cheeks.

"Red suits you Feng-er, especially when it's a blush done by me"

"Stop it you rogue! I need to go home now" I just looked at the clock and it's already seven, my brother would glare at me for the whole night, I'm so sure of it.

"Got it, if my wife sings, then this husband of yours would sing too"

I hit him in his shoulder and stifled the giggle that was about to leave my lips. This rogue, well, he is indeed sweet and shameless, that thing wouldn't change.

Ai, give an inch and he'll take a mile. Just an hour ago I was his girlfriend, now I'm already his wife, perfect.

Friday means I have to teach the students who signed up for art class today. It also means that I'll see Shu Jian and would probably wish for my survival.

"Feng jie, me and Mr. Jiang is finally married. We just got our married certification, here-" she shoved the red little book on me, it was if the color red bloomed in her hands as she continues. "And we would probably have our wedding ceremony next month"

"Congratulations! Then I assume you have some wedding candy in your bag?" I teased her as she slighi hit my arm with a bashful look.

"I'll treat you and our colleagues on our ceremony, be sure to attend okay? I want your presence to be there!" She smiled marvelously.

"I'll attend the ceremony of course, I'll be going now, see you!" I waved my hands and went to class.

After class ended, Shu Jian came towards me and decided to pour out her grievances.

"Teacher Feng! You should break up with my brother! He has forbidden me for calling my husband and he also told our parents about him! He's a rat! Now I can't see my dear and is suffering from heart ache! You should break up with him, he's no good! I hate gege now!"

Great, Ming Chen how dare you pass this troubling matter to me! What kind of brother are you?!

"Shu Jian, you're still young-"

"Age doesn't matter when it comes to love" I choke on her response and finally sighed.

"You're right but you're still in school, you want to present your amazing self towards your precious person right?"

She nodded albeit with reluctance and finally wiped her tears down. I gently pat her head and offered a comforting smile before saying.

"Don't worry, I'll smack your brother's bottom for hurting his little sister's feelings like that"

"You're the best Teacher Feng! Don't worry, my brother is a paper tiger when it comes to you, he's a henpecked husband after all"

This girl! Ai, the two really are similar!

Notes:

• Phoenix eyes, considered striking/beautiful, it also resembles the eye of the mythical phoenix bird. It has a little curve at the outer corner of the eye.
• Outshine the moon and put the flowers to shame, a very exaggerated way of describing someone's features
• Husband sings wife follows, idiom meaning wives will obey their husbands (But in this case, Ming Chen changed the role where he's the one following Feng Mian's decision)
• Wedding candy, typically candy is exchanged between the families as a traditional symbol of happiness and fruitful offspring. Wedding candy is also often handed out or displayed at the reception feast, or offered as a wedding favor to the guests.
