| No matter what, he'll always be ready for a beating |

I'm in a really tight situation, I'm still deciding whether I should slap my hands on Shu Lian's mouth to stop her from blabbering more or to get Ping Ling away from the office and pretend nothing happened.

But of course, there's no such thing as luck in my life.

"Teacher Feng and my brother were first loves and will be married this year. Also, I'm the one who set them up"

Great, she's just adding oil to the fire.

"That's not-"

"Teacher Feng, one must not lie and as the saying goes 'When a person walks, he leaves traces [and] when a bird flies it leaves feather' truth will always resurface" Shu Jian said with an expression filled with righteousness.

If it was some other situation, I would be proud of her, I would even side on her but now, I don't think I'll be able to.

"That's a lie Shu Jian, you should not tell lies an-"

"Teacher Feng, my brother waited for you for eight years and now...tsk, my gege would surely be hurt if he hear this" her eyes show innocent but I'm afraid she's like her brother.

Oh right, they have the same genes and that would be the reason why I find myself speechless from her lack of shame when telling absolute lies.

But is all of it a lie?

"So you already have someone you love?" Ping Ling asked with extreme shock while she stood there, taking every words in her head and probably making her own theories.

Goodness gracious, fine I will tell the truth!

"It's the truth, I'm dating her gege but we're not going to get married in just a year!"

Ping Ling suck in a breath of cold air while Shu Jian remained proudly standing at her side as she smiles at me with utter purity.

After that whole fiasco, I ushered Ping Ling to her next class and took Shu Jian with me, it's just coincidence that my next class is hers. So I decided to ask the question I've been thinking of for the past two days.

"So...I didn't know that you have two birthdays and that you have a JieJie"

She stopped walking and smiled at me with that charming phoenix eyes and childish look. Honestly, I feel like it's not the real her and I don't know if I should be scared or not with it.

"It's all a plan for the two of you, see, if I didn't do that then you two would mope around like two fools" she said innocently and proceeds to walk back to her room.

Dang, she really is Ming Chen's sister, their both shameless and scheming.

School ends after such a stressful morning, it didn't help matters when I learned of my favorite student, Shu Jian to have a playful and scheming attitude.

Seriously, who ever cross her line, I doubt they're going to get out of there that easy.

"Liu Ying? Why did you call?" I ask exhaustingly after I found out her call.

"We're going home tomorrow! Get ready to spill the tea, not literally but you know what I mean!"

Great, another thing to look forward to.

"I will, good luck and be safe"

"You too!"

The call ended after that and I soon find myself on my bed, my eyes closed without any intention of cleaning up.

Yes, I am tired today.

He knew she must be sleeping now since she just finished her job but he knew he can't let this sit on any longer.

She needs to know.

It's better for her to know it from him rather than someone else's. But it would be bloody, he's ready for a fight but he's still a bit hesitant whether to call her now.

It's ten, it's already late since she still needs to go to her job tomorrow but he's scheduled in thursday. He can't leave without getting a proper talk with her.

So he called, the first call didn't got through and then the second one connected.

"Hello?"

Her voice sounds like she just got up from her sleep, shoot, he really messed up.

"Uh...hi...um, I was wondering if you're still up?" He sound nervous but it's just the fact that their relationship wasn't established yet and he's going to be in a remote place for like six months.

It's not fair to her, he's still wooing her after all and this is not really fair for her.

But this is his job, this is something that will happen everytime, something that'll happen when he's with her.

She won't probably experience a normal life of a couple, getting to public places and dating with her on daytimes. She'll also get drag in the mud with him, get into scandals and would definitely read some of his which he doesn't really look forward to in the future.

"I'm up, what happened?"

"I'm in your doorstep" he heard some tumbles and then footsteps rang into the night before the door opened in just a matter of seconds.

"You- why are you here? Are you okay? Why did you come here this late at night?" She sounds confused and a bit frazzled at the idea of seeing him in her doorstep.

"I need to tell you something but let's get you inside first, you'll get a cold"

After getting her inside, it's time to talk and he's not ready for a beating.

He really isn't.

Notes:

• Add oil to the fire, to aggravate a situation.
• When a person walks, he leaves traces [and] when a bird flies it leaves feather, means the truth cannot be hidden. Eventually it will be revealed.
• To suck in a breath of cold air, a reaction caused by shock or surprise.
