Not a love song

Tiana POV
The kids are with Hakeem for a couple of more days the only time I go over is to take the kids their milk and kiss them goodnight. Today I'm just gonna chill around the house go through the kids clothes and give what they can't fit away . I just got out the shower and it's time for me to eat. I finish eating and I'm the middle of me looking in the kids room through they clothes and I get a call. From Hakeem I didn't know if I should answer so I let it ring twice and answered it.
Tiana: Hello?
Hakeem: Hey , whatsup
Tiana: Nothing much just going through the kids clothes .
Hakeem: Okay um I would like if you and Laura had a sit down if that's cool with you?
Tiana:ummm(long pause ) fine tell her to come around 6:30
Hakeem: Okay bye
Tiana: Bye
Tiana was kinda taken back that Laura wanted to meet with her so she was just gonna listen . Tiana felt like Hakeem was tryna replace her with Laura once again . But it's all her fault if she would have stopped seeing Blake. Tiana got done going through their clothes and she went the cabinet and got some wine and 2 wine glasses but for right now she was gonna have a cup too prepare herself . Laura wanted to talk like civil adults so that's what their doing. Tiana wasn't mad just really curious why Laura out of all people . Hakeem forgave Laura so why couldn't tiana. Tiana was selfish, didn't care how anyone felt till Keem left her ass . They've been living separate for a couple of months now . Tiana wasn't as sad anymore she started going to church as often as she could with the kids. She read her bible every night and prayed even when she would bawl her eyes out. She change her eating habits and lost a lot of weight on her stomach but her boobs were still big because she had to feed the twins
6:30 . There's a knock and Tiana opens it too Laura and invites her to the living room area were the wine glasses are filled. They both took a sip and too break the awkward silence Laura said something.
Laura: your probably wondering why I wanted to me
Tiana: yes
Laura: I just wanna know why you don't like me?
Tiana: Lets see you left Hakeem at the alter and I had to pick up the broken pieces . He basically is tryna replace you with me again
Laura: that's not the case me and him aren't even together we just vibin and chilling my girls play with y'all da daughters all the time.
Tiana: oh well them I'm sorry. How has Hakeem been doing?
Laura: good and bad he acts happy in front of the kids as he should then he cries and vents to me all the time . He's really upset by you and hurt.
Tiana: I don't understand why though I didn't cheat so maybe he's feeling guilty from when he cheated
Laura: in the nicest way possible stop bringing up talks past . Let it go, he's hurt because of how he could of not been on this earth bc of Blake's dad and how y'all broke up 2 years after y'all had the twins. He really loves you.
Tiana: I love him too but
Laura: No buts Tiana listen you hurt him , he just want you to take accountability for your actions and stop acting like the Victim , he wants to come back to you but he wants you to grow up first think about your daughters. You don't want them to become like that. It's not fair too Hakeem. He talks about you so much I forget about who the hell I am . He just wants you to tell him the truth and actually listen when he knows somethings up. He knows that you felt someway about maya being pregnant, he wanted to reach out but he felt it wasn't his business but your his wife so everything you do Tiana is his business and same goes for him. I just want you to hear him out .
Tiana: Thank you Laura I most definitely will.
Laura: the kids ask when are they gonna be able to come back and live with you and I tell them that your getting better for them
Tiana: Thank you honestly. I'm sorry for how rude I was too you. We should definitely hang more sometime.
Laura: okay well I'm gonna get going now
Tiana: okay bye
Laura left Tiana clean up and went to bed .
Think how does she make this right she misses her husband. Back with Laura and Hakeem
Hakeem: so how'd it go?
Laura: good . She's probably gonna call you tomorrow to talk so I could watch the kids
Hakeem: okay . Well I'm going to bed because my kids are early fucking worms . Thank you also for talking to her
Laura: No problem I got you
Laura left and Hakeem went to bed excited because he missed his wife and the convo they were gonna have was much needed.
Their love was definitely not like a love song. No where close to it but they had eachother.
