Last Chapter: Sunshine

Xian don’t know how long he slept for, but he woke up when he felt something or someone hugging him, he opened his eyes and after adjusting to the light he saw the most adorable sight ever, A-Yuan was sleeping next to him; hugging him, while WangJi was sleeping; seated on the chair next to his bed, holding his hand.

He decided to stay quiet and let the other two sleep as long as both of them want to, but after just a few moments WangJi stirred in his sleep and woke up.

At first both of them stayed silent, enjoying each other’s presence while Xian was rubbing the back of the little boy sleeping next to him.

“When we brought you to the hospital, the doctor told us that the bullet pierced through your chest, damaging your artery. I passed out before he could continue, I woke up 48 hours later, they told me that I was malnourished and I had minor arrhythmia that caused me to pass out.

Ge, XiChen and Wen Ning Ge were staying with us while I was out, so when I asked them about you I was informed that you were still critical and the doctors had given up on you. The only reason why you were still admitted in the hospital was that you had a really faint heartbeat and that Ge wasn’t ready to give up on you. And so were we told that you had fallen into a coma.

A couple of days later we held the funeral of Lan Qiren because father (Mr. Wei) asked us to, the same day Jiang Cheng also came here, in the entire ordeal we forgot to tell him about you. Later on the same week we found out that jiejie was expecting a baby; it was a huge drama, father and mother (Mr and Mrs Wei) were seriously mad, if not for Ge and me they wouldn’t have allowed Jiejie to marry Jin Zixuan.

They got married about 15 days after you fell in coma. After that our lives started getting back on track until court handed LAN int. over to me and I became the CEO of the company. I never wanted that but father talked to me, telling me that my stupid and emotional impulse will hurt many and make many jobless; I was left with no other choice but to take up on the job.

Father trained me, XiChen, Xing Chen, Xue Yang and Wen Ning Ge in business with the help of Ge, and after that I took on the role of the CEO, while XiChen, Wen Ning and Xing Chen became the MDs and major shareholders of the Company. WEI corp. on the other hand was given to Ge, making Xue Yang the MD and major shareholder after you guys.

It was about 6 months after you fell into coma when the doctors again asked us the permission to remove you from the ventilator, which resulted in Ge and Me buying the hospital, I’m sorry, I know you’re going to scold me over being impulsive but we didn’t had any other option.

Jie gave birth to Jin Ling the next month, she kept insisting to be kept in the same room as you, she thought that the crying voice of A-Ling will wake you up but it was a fail as well. It was the same time when mom, mother and father asked me to get married as well, as you were not showing any signs of waking up.

That night I was quiet mad and went out to drink, I was drunk on my way back home when I witnessed a car accident, a car had crashed into a truck, and the car had 4 people in it, a father, mother, grandmother and a 5 years old boy. Unfortunately the parents died on the spot and grandmother passed away a week later, leaving the 5 years old boy behind; who had lost his memory because of the head injury.

After investigation we found out that the boy had no other relatives and the family was here to enjoy their vacations, the children rights authority wanted to take the child to an orphanage but for some reasons I couldn’t let the. So after a month or so, i somehow managed to adopt the child with the help of your uncle, and there after the child became my son.

The same day I told our parents that I’ll wait for you no matter how long you might take and that A-Yuan is our son; yours and mine. At first our families weren’t that cooperative but soon after you started recuperating, and the more A-Yuan was near you the more you’d react to the treatment.
