I put my phone down and sighed. My rubbed my belly.

"Can you kick for mommy sweetie?" I asked. I waited a while but there was no response.

Defeated, I stood up and got to my feet. I changed into a loose tank and some capri sweats.

I layed down on the bed and pulled the covers up to my chin. I turned on the tv and channel  surfed for a bit. Pretty Little Liars was on. I shrugged and left it on.

It was a pretty good show. I watched about 4 episodes but when Ezra got shot I didnt feel like watching anymore.

I could hear Joelle and Patricia downstairs giggling. I stood up and stretched walking over to the door. I went down the stairs.

Joelle and Patricia were in the kitchen making what seemed like a lasagna.

I wobbled in and Patricia looked up at me.

"Are you well rested?"Patricia asked my and Joelle turned to me.

"Momma."Joelle smiled at me. I smiled back and kissed her forehead. "Yeah. Have you talked to Joe recently?" I asked looking at the clock above the stove. 6:18

She gave me her most sympathetic face and shook her head, covering the lasagna with aluminum foil and put it in the oven. "No. I tried calling but he didnt answer." She replied. I rubbed my forhead and nodded once. I went into the living room and sat on the couch.

Soon enough Joelle bounced over and hopped into my lap.

"Hey little mamma."I said ruffling her hair. She layed her head in my chest and I rubbed her back.

"You tired? Baby?" I asked her. She nodded and reached up to 'braid my hair'. Also known as just twisting it around.

"You have alot of hair." She complimented. I brushed a lock out of my face.

"Joelle.. Do you miss your mommy?" I asked her. She stared at me for a while before beginning to nod her head.

"If it makes you uncomfortable, you can just call me A-"

"I wanna call you mommy. Your not my real mommy but you have my brother or sister and you love daddy and you take care of me. And you love granda and grandpa and uncle Mattie. You even love me." Joelle cut me off. I was at lost for words.

"Your right babygirl. I do love everyone. Even you." I kissed her temple and she layed her head back on my chest.

"I love you too mommy."

I grinned  and continued rubbing her back. We watched a little bit of Disney Channel and Patricia went upstairs to lie down a bit after making us promise to supervise her lasagna.

We  watched a couple Jessie episodes when the oven beeped. I sat Joelle down because she was so into the show. Zuri is her favorite. I checked  the lasagna and it was ready. I took it out and set it on the stove top. By now it was 7:10. Normally Joelle is in bed by 7:00 but I know Patricia spoils Her so she'd be in bed by 8:00.

"JoJo. Go tell grandma her lasgna is ready." I called out. I heard Joelle running up the stairs. To the side was fried chicken and mashed  potatoes that Patricia made. I set the table and brought the food to the table.

Joelle hopped down the stairs followed by Roman's Mother.

"Oh darling your supposed to to be resting." She said patting my back and I grinned. "Mrs. Anoa'I, I was just setting the table thats all. Your the one who did the cooking." I explained. She smiled and went to wash her hands.
