''I need to have a word with Mr. Elias'', the unknown man quickly walked towards Wilson. He marched towards Wilson, panting, a little out of breath. He seemed nervous as he fidgeted with the seam of his worn- out brown jacket. There were hushes and whispers in the entire hall.
''What on earth is happening'', Jacques barked as Wilson turned expectedly towards the man.
''I think you better wait before raising your voice'', Caleb snapped.
''Daddy what's wrong'', Diana was already in tears beside her old man.
''Tell me what I was thinking was right, tell me'', Wilson shook the mystery man.
''Yes sir, you were'', he seemed pleased with himself as he stood chin up.
''Why the fuck weren't you picking up my calls, he would have gotten married any moment you idiot'', Caleb screamed.
''I don't think that's going to happen anymore'', the mystery man handed over a brown envelope to Wilson. The two men quickly peeped into the contents of the folder, there was relief and satisfaction on their faces.
''Mr. Rodriques a word with you please, now!'', Wilson grabbed Jacques by his arm and Caleb followed.
They entered an empty vanity room when Wilson locked the door. Jacques immediately grabbed Wilson by his collar.
''Whatever you're trying to play Wilson, believe me you are finished, I will ruin your future as a business man'', Jacques seethed with anger.
''Woah, not so fast daddy dearest. You might want to take a look at this before you say anything, let alone lift a finger at me'', Wilson handed over the envelope to Jacques.
He quickly emptied the contents on the table, and from his looks he seemed to expire any moment now.
''No, no you son of a bitch'', Jacques tried his hand at Wilson.
''Uh huh, not so fast Jacques, unless obviously you want me to make an official announcement'', Wilson smirked.
''Your daughter was sleeping with another man, while being engaged to me. The dates are already here though I'm enjoying these compromising positions much better, don't you think Caleb'', Wilson smirked.
''You bastard''
''Hmm, can't deny that. How much would I have enjoyed being in those positions with her, Oh Diana what have you done'', Wilson mockingly smiled.
''I won't let you get away with this crap Wilson, what the fuck do you want''
''Make me an 80% shareholder of your company, unless you want these snaps publicized, then be my guest'', Wilson waved the photos.
''No, you wouldn't do such a thing'', Jacques raised a finger pointing at Wilson.
''Of-course I can and of course I will. Don't be so surprised Jacques, you're just getting a taste of your own medicine. Remind me when have you ever played fair in business'', Wilson stood by the dressing table, his hands folded across his chest trying to gauge Jacques reaction.
All sorts of memories crossed his mind. When he was younger, it was this Jacques who had manipulated his father's business partner into falsifying statements against him. Wilsons father was a man of his words, it was just humiliating for him to be framed by someone so close to him. Eventually his father had to incur quite a bit of loss though he made it up in no time, the event left a life-long scar on his mind. This is how dirty Jacques played. This was plain revenge, he had finally got a taste of his own medicine and Wilson was so proud of being the one to show him his place. Though the manner in which he had duped Jacques would not be appreciated by his father, he never played fair anyway so it was alright.
''I can kill you'', Jacques quickly retrieved a gun from his suit pant.
Caleb swiftly bent down and lifted a gun from his shoe pointing it at Jacques.
''Try me, these pictures have copies, one shot and these get leaked, not that you would leave alive after that but just saying'', Wilson sighed, shaking his head mockingly.
''For a bright business man like you, I would take what Wilson has to offer'', Caleb still hadn't set his gun down.
''You bastard, I will come for you and I will destroy you'', Jacques left the vanity room.
''Shit'', Caleb quickly pulled Wilson into a hug. Wilson was generally not comfortable with such form of affection but he gave in.
''I was so scared'', Caleb sighed.
''Well, seems like since there's no wedding happening, I can get back to being a hot shot bachelor again, eh'', Wilson and Caleb walked out of the room. Everyone's heads turned towards the duo trying to figure out what was going on. The priest stood by the altar equally clue less.
''Daddy what's happening'', Diana still hadn't realized what went wrong.
''You slut, let's go'', Jacques pulled his daughter away and left. A few of the guests from the brides side left too, while others still waited for the climax.
''So, as you all must have figured out, there is no wedding happening anymore, but please don't leave without dinner, the buffets on me'', Wilson announced leaving everyone shocked.
The guests scurried to the dining area as they dare not question Wilson. Skylar and Susanne stood blankly beside Wilson as they saw the guests leave.
Meghan and Steve were still seated not knowing what to react.
''Wilson, explain to me right now what's going on'', Skylar was shivering.
''Mother, let it be it shouldn't concern you'', Wilson tried to shun off.
''It very well does Wilson, and don't you dare talk to me like that''
''Sky look we will explain everything to you but not now, can we just get over with all this right now'', Caleb waved at the guests. Skylar scoffed and left with Susanne.
''I need to call Lisa and schedule a meeting with Jacques and'', Wilson looked at the mystery man,
''Thankyou detective Mason, you saved the day, I've made your payment and you can leave now'', Wilson dispersed the man. His eyes quickly fell on Meghan who was walking towards him carefully.
''We'll take your leave too, I'm sorry'', Meghan stared at Wilson.
''Sorry for what''
''For you not getting married'', Meghan shrugged.
''I think you meant thank god'', Wilson winked.
