Chapter 29: Nami's confused

"So how did your alone time with Y/N go?" asked Nami in a suggestive tone. She and Kana were currently in the cafeteria as they took their lunch.

"Um.. Normal, I guess?" Kana looked down on her lunch and Nami raised a brow at this

"Normal? Don't tell me you backed out again." Nami deadpanned.

Kana suddenly covered her face as she grew embarrassed

"I-It was horrible. I just ended up crying then Y/N-chan suggested that we go home early so I can take a rest."

"Wow.. you guys are unbelievable." said Nami in disbelief. She expected Y/N to react platonically but not Kana. The girl could be bold and Nami already witnessed that side of hers.

"Kana should really get a grip of herself. Also, I should tell Y/N to be more accepting of Kana's advances."

"You know, Kana.. the way you are acting, It's like you don't really like Y/N at all."

Nami's words made Kana lightly flinch

"I mean, why would you cry when you are alone with her?  But I understand. Oji-san knows that you are just nervous." spoke Nami in a fatherly tone and patted Kana's shoulder

"That's why, don't lose hope. You can just create another chance to be with Y/N. And don't back away again, okay?"

Kana timidly nodded as she chewed on her food.

"Oh, I remember." Nami focused on Kana as the girl explained. "Father requested me to model for a photoshoot."

"Really? What is it about?"

"Um.. it's about a wedding scene and Father will make me act as the bride." Kana blushed faintly. "Though we are.. you know. But I really wanted to wear the wedding dress instead of the tuxedo."

" I see.." Nami pondered. "Then that would be a perfect chance to make Y/N act as your groom. You can just make her wear the tuxedo."

Kana blushed more and Nami declared.

"All right. We'll have Y/N join the photoshoot. Wait, when is it?"

"At weekend.. so tomorrow. But Nami.." Kana showed a hint of worry.

"Is it really alright with Y/N? Maybe she won't agree."

"Nah. Don't worry about. I'll make her agree." replied Nami in nonchalance. Kana still held a doubtful look and Nami took notice of this

"What's wrong?"

"Um.. you're going, right?"

Nami blinked in confusion

"Of course. If I won't, I'm sure Y/N would not go either. Knowing her, she would argue on how I'm forcing her to attend while I'm just staying at home."

"Ah. That's good." Kana sighed in relief and Nami stared at her in wonder

"Photoshoot? For a wedding scene?"

Nami explained the details to Y/N as soon as they arrived home

"Yep. And it's tomorrow. We have to leave early since the church venue is a bit far from here."

Y/N furrowed her brows

"Okay. But since when did I agree to this?"

"I already told Kana that you'll be going." Nami clicked her tongue

"Ugh. I can't believe you, Nami." Y/N rolled her eyes while Nami just held a triumphant smirk

"You're wearing the tux. Kana loves wearing the wedding dress even if she's a futa." Nami's expression turned solemn. "I think this will really mean a lot to Kana."

Y/N observed Nami for some time

"Nami.. I think that..."

"What?"

Y/N faced away from Nami

"Nothing. Just make sure to pay for our bus fare tomorrow."

Nami gazed at Y/N's retreating form in confusion

"What is up with them? She's the same with Kana. Geez. " thought Nami as she shrugged her shoulders
